I always wanted to be a 1h spear + shield warrior, so… (PVE)
Pelta 3 > Hoplite 3 > Murmillo.
What do u guys think about this? LUL
I think it’s OK, though murmillo looks like it’s more of a PVP class like Lancer.
You will be subpar in terms of DPS output and AOE compared to the more popular Dop3/DopGoon2 builds.
But I guess it just all boils down to personal preference and what you enjoy playing the most so feel free to go for it!

EDIT: u can make a 1h spear dragoon, pelt.hop3>doppel>dragoon or instead of dopp u can get pelt c2 for more tswashbulk

^ I like this guy’s build better. Makes for a nice party play.
I kinda like having spear throw though.
A more DPS oriented build could also be:
S1 Pel1 Hop3 Rod1 Dopel1 Mur1 (Frenzied Slash > S. Lounge > Cyclone > S. Throw & L. Stride for picking up stray folks w/ low hp)
The following might be a more balanced approach:
S1 Pel1 Hop2 Rod2 Dopel1 Mur1 (Slithering as we see in some videos)
I also wanted to do the same so I did
Pelt 1 > Hop 1 > Rod 3 > Shinobi > (future) Murm
I think you’re losing out too much by essentially taking Hop2-3 or Pelt2-3 as your R6-R7. I’d trim one of them down for Rod or Dop

if you want a strong pve swordsman, i highly recommend you either go
peltasta 2 rodelero 3 shinobi murmilo (op burst look it up on youtube)
hoplite 3 doppel dragoon c2
or a doppel 3 build (highlander 3 or barbarian 3 is your choice)
all 3 are good builds in pve.

Guess he wants to stick to spear-shield Murmillo build though which AFAIK is only achievable if you get at least a rank in Hop or Dragoon for the 1h spear class attribute.

You could always go Sword 1-> Peltasta 2 -> Hoplite 3-> Shnobi -> Murmillo.

Shinobi can make use of syncro thrusting from Hop and pelt’s rim/umbo blow. I guess it’d fit what you’ve said you wanted to go with while being real OK at it.
