What class rank do we eventually get to in the end?

I know rank 7 is only the tip of the iceberg, but how far does it go? To me it’s important in terms of properly planning a build that’s “future-proof”.

That being said, how long and far out are these rank increase? Are they going to be used as pseudo-expansions (so like we get a rank increase when they give us new, harder content)?

I just want to know how this goes. The class system is pretty rigid as you can’t back step even with the TP shop so I’m trying to cover all the bases in making my build…

If this keeps up we might make it to rank 10/11.
15/40/75/120/170/220/270 are the gear tiers
Rank ups happen around those times. Exception is 270.
So either rank 8 is going to still come while we’re in the 200’s (maybe ~280?) or they’ll switch it up for 300. That still means a rank up in the mid/late 300’s is probably as for 400’s and 500’s. I’d also guess you’ll reach 600 before class 15 of the final rank. So 10/11 ranks seems likely to me.

I don’t know about “future proof”, balance updates happen and can change the game, plus this game is expected to have a ton of levels, will probably be 2+ years before 600 gets into the game.
You’re going to spend a crap load of time in this game just killing crap, tempted to say as far as bang for your buck goes, future proofing thought doesn’t seem enjoyable. It’s simply too long an experience unless they make previous levels easier to go through later on.
