What causes hatred?

I have a zealot (cleric2-priest2-monk2-kabbal-zealot2 to be exact) who always gets chased by monsters, ALL THE TIME. Meanwhile, my other characters can walk closely to the monsters and do not get chased at all. The only time they get chased is when the monsters are newly spawned (you see them dropping from the sky, you can bet 99% they will chase after you).

Why is my zealot getting chased all the time? Is there a hidden hatred value or something? I know swordsman has an attribute similar to this, called provoke or something. Is it related? Even then, my Murmillo doesn’t get chased either.

P.S. This was tested in the same map, and all my characters are similar in level, around 320-ish.

some quests do that. maybe that char has some active?

No. Most of my characters have similar quests that are not turned in in order to be used as warps.

Only explanation I can think of is indeed, due to a quest. Check if you mistakenly took a quest that you don’t need to keep for your warp. Two maps with aggro quests that I can think of is in Dvasia Peak and in Sutatis Trade Route. Not sure if there are more.

i was going to say misunderstanding and fear. but i guess this is more of a game bug issue XD

Quest. Some quests will give you perma aggro on mobs all around. Search up on it and you’ll find some.

It is some quest.
My Sadhu is in the same case \o/ Really annoying when I quest (thank God she has Fade and Dark Sight), but it’s amazing when farming. Mobs throw themselves in my Possession <3

This is her current quests - maybe it can help you find the culprit :

  • Level 8, Woods of The Linked Bridges: Monster Colony (2) <-- I think it’s this one that causes it
  • Level 61, Ramstis Ridge: Seal of the Royal Family (3)
  • Level 67, Akmens Ridge: For Safety
  • Level 85, Mochia Forest: An Endless Deal (1)
  • Level 88, Sutatis Trade Route: Trade Route Locked Chest
  • Level 107, Fedimian Suburbs: Preventive Measures (3)
  • Level 129, Forest of Prayer: Prequisite Blessing <-- I know for sure it isn’t this one, because all my characters have it
  • Level 285, Svalphinghas Forest: Green Autumn Leaves <-- Same as the previous one
  • Level 316, Emmet Forest: Poison will be strong enough
  • Level 320, Alembique Cave: Alembique Tales (2)
  • Level 341, Valandis Room 2: Necessary Mistake (1)
  • Level 351, Izoliacjia Plateau: Narvas Temple’s Barrier (1)

… I need to dust my warping quests.
But I’m pretty sure the one in the Woods is the correct one. I think I remember people, some time ago, find that it is one of the quests that give eternal aggro.

this

you can test it by abandoning the active quest one by one

Alright thanks all, I will have to check 1 by 1 when I get a chance. It’s great for grinding though, like someone said.
