For now I’ve only got 2 slots at max and like 6 extra potential (from 8 base Nyx knight armor)
I forgot to tell that from the database you can see 1h and 2h swords have 2 sockets base and that they get 4 sockets from appraise means you can get for now twice the ammount base sockets on the weapon/armor has anyone seen a different result than 2 slots on any armor/non 2h 1h swords?

I arrived at same conclusion as well. It would be nice if I’m wrong because what i can see here, they depend on the socket/potential base of the item. So we wont be seeing 3-4 slot armors and sub weapons 
since they clearly stated that they can only get to maximum of double the potential/socket of the item
I was looking forward to 3-4 slot shield/subweapon for my pet and now my hopes are low

nah …probably all weapon type can go up to 4
(as i’ve seen 4 in pistol)
dunno about armor tho
are you sure about this? can you provide us an screenshot of iTOS 4slotted Pistol? I am very doubtful about this
