Does dagger with high physical damage increased the damage dealt on monsters?
I am talking about standard daggers such as superior knife not the arde dagger.
I tried to equip normal daggers but it seems like it didnt boost any of my atk.
can u pls explain why
Some skills requires a dagger equipped.
Dagger also provides Pierce damage on basic attacks so it’s good vs leather targets, if you don’t use a spear that is.

if i am a swordman and uses a one-handed sword with a normal dagger. It will not boost any of my atk right

daggers are basically useless, if you want to stab get a level in a stabbing job. otherwise you’re better of with the bonus elemental daggers, or grabbing a job with 2h weapon attributes.
unless you choose a job with dagger bonus’ or skills, like corsair.
When you have an offhand weapon, the Character UI starts showing the “Secondary Physical Attack”, which is the value used when attacking with C. It’s a separate value, so there’s no benefit in equipping a dagger (that’s not arde or karacha) if you’re not gonna attack with it, or use skills that employ it.
