What a crappy game, I'm out

Tree of savior, a supposed MMO, but with a broken party function that they refuse to fix turned it into a solo online game thats dominated with hackers and bots, toppled by a half assed development team who does nothing but apply patches because they have absolutely no idea how to actually fix bugs. The staff is run by bots who just give you copy/paste and the game itself is even more half assed to the point you feel like you are playing it in its beta state. There are tons of glitches and bugs everywhere and if there is only one thing good I can say, its that, the creator had a good idea, but the execution and current state its in just destroyed its success.

I am very disappointed as I had high hopes from the creator of one of my favorite games (RO). It is sad to see his game in such a pathetic state. I am quitting for now, as all of my friends have as well, but I may come back (IF) they get things under control and able to still maintain from what little players they have left. But as it is right now, its just not worth my time.

To be fair, ToS is a fairly niche game in itself. I don’t think it was ever meant to have huge numbers. As many “I quit blah blah” post as I see, I still have very little trouble doing anything I did before I saw all these “I quit blah blah” post.

What I don’t understand is why you would make an “I quit blah blah” post other than to garner attention (Kudos, he got it). There’s ways to let IMC know you’re unhappy in the right ways instead of another ■■■■ post on the general forums. Because frankly, you’re just another anonymous a.sshole on the internet and no one really cares.

EDIT: This post is not to discredit his issues. I understand that part and have some sympathies.

isnt applying patches a good thing? im actually sprised on how fast they did, usually other korean mmos (TERA im looking at you) neglect the american servers and they get updates so much slower. atleast IMC is actually showing us that theyre not neglecting us.

we asked for costumes - they went out of their way from fixing bugs to apply a few costumes because a small amount of people wanted costumes, just to get even more hate for doing that

we asked for events - what do we get, 3 events.

we wanted team battle - well here it is.

they coulcve been fixing bugs, but they put in all that stuf just bcuz we wanted it.

EVERY game has hackers and bots, even the expensive mmorpgs!!! stop compling about bots, theres a SUPER noticable change in the bot population from launch to today. i can honestly say that i havent seen 1 bot outside of the cities for the past weeks.

i can honestly say that imc is one of the best mmorpg companies i have played a game from, aside from the restrictions, this game is going in a good direction

you have a flaw here. Its when you brought up TERA. like why the ■■■■ for? because you played it? and experienced its issues? Let me tell you what I experienced. Like you I have played a MAGNITUDE of mmos… right now im assuming you have also played a magnitude of mmos… TERA was a game i gave 2 shits about… made an account, got some random hentai bitch up to whatever lvl i got it to and quit… because it was like wow… with another up2date skin… there were hundreds of thousands of kids in my boat. noone likes to see the same thing done over and over and over with more hip bikini.

Normally I’d say this is just any other “I quit playinga videogame and felt you guys needed to know about it for some reason” thread, but for real how is the party bug not fixed yet? That is some gamebreaking ■■■■. This game already felt like it tried to make you solo until level 200 before, now it’s literally not possible to party up for most of the quests.

ktos and itos should be the same. This patch should have fixed that.

If rank 8 arrives i fully aspect it to hit both itos and ktos at the same time.
