Whale Hunt Event-unable to participate

Bug Description : game crashes
(letting us know what you were doing before, during, and after the bug happened will help us a lot)

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. get close to whale
  2. players gather over 20 to 80 players gather to kill it
  3. the screen goes white
  4. game crashes

  • Graphics Card : none

  • Mainboard : greetings everybody, if there is anybody who is an admin reading this i had appreciate your attention.
    due to the collective gathering of players killing the whale happening every single time and Not being able to
    Solo a whale even if you tried to kill it before people gathered around you.
    some players with low fps have been unable to participate in this event during the entirety of it and will continue
    to miss it until it’s over.
    it’s to the point that turning off all settings in game won’t help [including me.]

is there any self awareness of this from imc ?
how many other players seem to have the same problem, i look forward to further discussions
whether or not imc can do something to help players who can’t handle so many skills of 20 to 80 people
with special effects on their screen before their game disconnects from server or crashes.

Dunno if they would do anything about this TBH, look at the suggestion i posted for this event, maybe that could help in the future at least.

I also have a low spec PC and had to skip this event, yesterday i asked a friend to get me the buff using my account and surpirse surpise with the 12 enchant scrolls i got i ended up getting a meta hat for wizard with 125 matk, 115 mag.amp and 1480 hp. You might be asking why is that important? simple put, low spec players are missing the chance to get such awsome rewards, wich some of them are game breaking, the fact that you can get a meta hat from this event its HUGE but saddly, we low spec players cant even dream about of participating on this event.

It makes me kind of sad that they dont aknowledge that and it would be nice that in the future they keep that mind and add some twist to the events to let us participate as well. Anyways, try checking my suggestion and give so feedback so i can tag the staff.

As this probably won’t get fixed … try opening game settings and turn off “show other players’ names” (this one helped me the most) under game and of course under graphic settings “show damage on other characters” and “show other character’s effects” … or better yet just turn off all graphic settings >_<

Hope this makes it somewhat bearable :disappointed_relieved:

already turned off All settings and selected Lowest performance on graphics. but as you pointed out, it won’t get fixed with doing this.
