West playing in korean server, so why not open international server again? :/

I mean, there are probably over 3k people that shouldn’t be playing the korean open beta from many countries, so why not remove those people from korean open beta and open again the global version? Just make another CBT, give us that as x-mas gift
Well, for me it wasn’t a good idea end the cbt in the end of the year, so many people is currenctly without anything to do, so some might start playing a new mmorpg and forgeting about TOS… Well I hope we can play TOS soon again

Ps: I’m not jelous, I could buy a korean nexon account or ask a friend to make me one, but I don’t think thats rigth and I don’t want to play a game in korean, even if it can be translated to english, still not right, or else there wouldn’t be a reason to verify your account with a korean cell phone number and ID… I’m not judging who bought either, just saying if the international server was back no one would be playing illegaly and we could still test and help the devs.

I think we’re in the minority here, but I agree: they shouldn’t be touching that version at all.It wasn’t meant for us,and all it’s doing is helping to mis-spread information because people are seeing certain things in kOBT and making assumptions that may or may not be true.I wish they would actually look for these people and block them from that version of the game.

Ours will be ready when they finish going through the last tests data, the surveys, and have translated the OBT content to English. They’ll give us a date when they’re more prepared, but the last one finished not that long ago.Be patient, people.

So they should just rush/skip using the results obtained from iCBT2 to make the game better and instead release the game to the public just because some people don’t have anything better to do during the holiday season?

Amazing.

what they should do is removing the IP/ID thing to make a nexon acc so everyone can play on the korean open beta.
Or at least give one to me lol

I hope they are making big efforts so we can get the real release on Q1 2016 but probably it will delay to Q2 or even more, hopefully not.

Because two servers = double the costs and double the workload.
Unless you want the international beta to be neglected again, and have gamebreaking bugs that last for weeks (negative bugs, since the fun ones get hotfixed in hours), then sure.

I dunno, it seems a little unrealistic to me that it’d take so long to “update” (for lack of a better word) the international server and get an open beta started for everyone else. I am not developer-savvy so my ignorance could probably be made into a monument in this regard but nonetheless, it doesn’t seem as hard as some people would like to think.

Because we aren’t ready. Many issues are being fixed in the kOBT version. The game monetization is still being messed around with.

We don’t even have half of the early game translated (Orsha quest lines).

Really would not make sense.

OH, okay, sorry lol. I wasn’t able to play during the iCBT and, actually, I came to the forums something like 4 days after it ended so a lot of stuff people talk about here don’t make sense to me :<

They can’t do that. South Korea has very strict online gaming laws that don’t people play anonymously.

Just wanted to say thank you for the very interesting read!

It actually helps to further solidify my opinion that people here definitely should not be doing this.

Naw hell no. I want a fresh exploit-free chill playable game. As much as I really really want to play again and try the new stuff, thinking about how its Korea’s turn to polish the game makes me feel better. Also think about it this way, foreigners in the servers who are playing right now will most likely start from scratch as soon as the international servers are online, unless they want to play with korean speakers. :smiling_imp:
Although, all hail and respect the players who gives us info about the new content. :innocent:

3k people

And I have to say, if you want to convince people about something try now to pull random numbers out of your ass without backup.

Da GMs can just press the “fix bugs” button n dats all amirite??? so ez pz ecks dee

all bugs must be fixed before, I dunno, translations
I hope you realize I was referring to translations as opposed to bugs.

mfw you can’t pseudo-greentext

But, Nexon is the publisher. Are’nt they handling all the server related stuff and costs?

actually, this is a good question. I’d like to know as well.

I suggested in my feedback post letting us get in and start translating :x:

Ok, you can wish for a global sever opening again but what is this for " remove those people from korean open beta " ???
I dont think that ppl playing in kOBT did anything wrong to you except they make you jealous ?
$10 is not a big amount . Dont be like that bad please

he’s jelly because he cant play lol

the only reason why it’d upset me (if it did) is because I don’t think that money is going towards the developers, which kinda sucks 'cause it could help them and yadda yadda cash shop monetization etc etc etc.
and yeah, 'cause I can’t play and I want to play :<

It isn’t lool (Unless Nexon is secretly providing accounts to the website(s) and get a part of the profits ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), but account registration over there isn’t done with Social Security numbers anymore so no harm.

If you really want to play that bad you could do what the others are doing, but at the risk of taking away some of the fun for when iOBT launches over here. The EXP rates over there are lower than our CBT rates, and with no English-speaking friends to play with, I think the fun would die out for you sooner (there) than later (here). Just hang in there.
