Were there ever any roleplay guilds/communities?

Tried searching around, most of the topics are from like… last year, or never got replies, etc… So I was curious if there were any groups or communities in general geared towards ToS roleplay? Used to RP on a server back in my RO days and it was way fun.

No eRP! Haha, Not for me anyway. I just like makin’ little stories! Fanart is always cool though. I should get off my ass and do some for once.

Don’t think there’s any roleplay in this game cuz:

  • There’s no universal social hangout spots.
  • The chat filter makes trying to talk to others one of the most stressful activities in the game.
  • The game uses your Team Name to represent yourself rather than your character names which isn’t a big deal if you use your imagination but it’s still immersion breaking to a degree.

Kinda sucks because I like writing and story telling and could do some roleplaying but IMC doesn’t like people enjoying social activities in their game.

That’s too bad. I’d really love to be able to write too, the universe/lore here is so ripe for it.

There someone doing research on the lore of ToS in the forums… u should check that out if ur intrested

The lore of the game needs a little more development before becoming an engaging storyline, to be honest.

I tried to make a temporary hub, but there were only a few people that joined. I guess RP is not a viable option these days, unlike other games.

Rp, I can barely talk with people. Sigh, I only wish for someone to do a burial rp whenever I die on dungeons.

There are role playing guilds out there. You just need to find them. I see a couple in the guild promotion section of this forum. I hate to self promote but one of them is our guild. A few of my friends and I are currently employed by the Kafra Corporation. The pay is okay but the benefits are awesome. Sadly I don’t think we have any new job positioning at the moment until we can expand some more. Here is our link on this forum.
