Welp with quests broken to hell and no fix until the population drops to 2k or less

Id like to try leveling a swordy for shits and giggles and maybe, just maybe, the areas of lvs 1 thru 100 isnt broken…maybe.

So this is gonna be a little different, hypothetical, lets say, IMC released a Dark Knight class, or something very similar to it, no not lancer, not dragoon, but basically yea, at Rank 9 or even Rank 10, I wanna lv this swordy to maybe Rank 6 for now, hell ill take it to R8 eventually for shits and giggles, I main a Palaquisitor and I do so because my guild requested it. But yanno, if a Dark Knight or again, something equivalent to it, is ever out, thats my class right there.

Dark Knights, well usually they are associated with Great Swords, or Scythes, though in rare times, I seen them Dual Wield, even Sword and Board or hell use a great axe, but since this is ToS, and their are no scythe weapons unless added for whatever reason, may be a Great Sword build.

So, what can anyone experienced in the way of the swordie can tell me on some Two Hand sword DPS builds that is viable for ET, if any, pros and cons of each of em, how they compare to other configurations, etc. Id love to know. Looking forward to it and hey just putting this out their, I love you swordie guys and gals, I am even considering putting Miko instead of Plague Doctor in my Palaquisitor build, due to how much Swordies LOVE Miko. So yea, have at it.

Then Doppel is your guy. You can either choose the Highlander variant (Sw-High3-Barb-Doppel3) or the Barbarian variant (Sw-High-Barb3-Doppel3) or split both (Sw-High2-Barb2-Doppel3, this was the thing in ktos when Skyliner had 0cd). All are viable, Highlanders will have an edge on boss monsters while Barbarian for AOE and utilities.

Personally I prefer having an Inquisitor on the party rather than Miko. :smiley:

It will have Miko in the build with Inquisitor…if I decide to go that route. Otherwise…eh easier to show it like this.

Cleric C2 Priest C1, Paladin C3, Miko/PD then finally Inquisitor.

Anyway what stat split is popular for Doppels these days?

Based on some ktos vids, seems that they are doing Dex Str with no Con. I don’t know how they are surviving with all those powerful mobs. But yes most are resetting their stats in favor of Dex:Str, maybe 3:1 or 2:1 ratio.

I have a 256 Doppel and I have about the same ratio, but I still invest in Con.

Hm, so with say 370 points to allocate. 250 Dex, 80 Str, 40 Con?

con doesn’t really add much compared to what you get from levels. no point unless it’s one of your main stats.

Yea your right, a swordie with no con wearing I guess plate seems to get about 22000 HP without any other modifiers. Thats how much any other class with 100 con put in would get.
