Most of these threads are just ragey whining nonsense but you’re completely justified here OP. ToS was released too early and has a ton of problems that need to be addressed. So many of them wouldn’t even be difficult to deal with at all - for example there is literally no reason why we don’t have tons of maps filled with mobs and reasonable spawnrates. Some other things like the horrible optimization are harder to fix but would’ve been easy to prevent, I seriously do not understand the level of incompetence that caused them to structure their netcode the way they did for an MMO.
Lots of bad decisions on IMC’s part and they’re dragging their feet way too much in fixing it (seriously, the awful spawns would be SO easy to correct), which is leading to a lot of people declaring the game abandoned already. I still see a lot of fun in it when it plays the way it should, but I’m in the same boat where most of my friends have stopped playing and guild chat is a ghost town which really kills a lot of the fun for me and so I’m playing a lot less as well. Not ready to just declare myself done with it, though, I still pop on to do a few dungeons and maybe grind a bit while listening to a podcast. Game’s still good for that, at least.
