Welcome to Open Beta Week 51

Greetings Saviors,

We would like to take a moment to welcome you all to our 51st week of ITOS Beta. This week we will continue to roll the potatoe back and forth to further test our newest optimization measures.

We apologize if the servers erupt into random flames but do not fear, as always our crack team of professionals will respond in an timely manner and after aprrox. 7 to 9 hours of downtime we will be sure to compensate everyone with 4 fortune cookies or an experience scroll set to self destruct in 14 days.

(this is why after 6 weeks I have 0 plans to return unless IMC sells ITOS to an actual publisher capable of running an online game, I get asked every week “hey, when you coming back” lol, when these clowns are unemployed)

why wait 6 weeks. lets be real here, nothing is going to change during those 6 weeks. just accept and play the game with what you got or move on.

i’m new to forums eggsD

And even if this ^ happen, won’t change a thing, a publisher is not a developer, they can only manage prices and event times, forward reports and what not.

This game unfortunately have horrible parents tha only care for money.

not entirely accurate though, you saw firsthand JTOS pulled ahead of ITOS in terms of content/updates etc within what? 1 month as opposed to ITOS’s year or so of existance, the base game has potential, its why we all put so much time into it before giving up

This noob scout 3 is here again huehuehue

Content doesn’t mean fixes, do you know the current state of jToS? They can’t socket gems, as much some other issues. At least it was like that last month when i played for the last time.

As i said, publishers can only manage stuff, they can’t code a thing, they can’t fix bugs, unless is something on their front-end (website or forums).

Also they can ask for content, and specific content.

No more no less.

sounds like another seifer alt account

Ya he has a few in play atm to avoid the backlash he gets from the community

I just ignore the majority of these type of fail attacks though, when someone who joined in October calls me a noob I just lol and move on, I had a 280 in April, do the math =)

Optimization patch and maintenance (brought forward early by Klaipedia’s channel bug few hours before actual schedule)

Tbh I think its my fault, b/c lately ive been getting pretty bored with FFXIV, the usual nonsense where im capped on everything by day2 of the week watching paint dry the next 5 days so I occasionally get the itch to play ToS.

When you dont play for a month or two you start to forget about how unstable the servers are and that every patch note reads like this;

patch 148.6
new gacha boxes added
new companion added
new premium emotes added
new premium hairstyle added
new premium contact lens added

misc.
fixed a minor visual glitch on Hunter’s growling skill

I logged in today, or tried to anyways to use my free tp rq and glance at the mb, I like to laugh at the rmt heavyweights like Kirito constantly buying and selling silver through 5million pebbles etc and I caused this latest server meltdown. The universe is reminding me why I left after 2,700+ hours.

To be fair it’s closer to week 41 of open beta. I doubt it’ll have improved much by the year mark anyway.

Ya as amusing as it is to bash IMC its also sad, this game would shine so much with just a fraction of compentence from the people running it. If they could just handle the most basic functions such as regulary scheduled maintenance and server resets things might be different. The reality is, since April 3 out of every 4 maintenances have been followed by additional maintenances b/c for every 1 thing they fix, they break an additional 3. IMC is the shady mechanic of online games, the slimeball that rotates your tires then loosens the fan belt.
