[Weird Issue] Steam verify file cache

Bug Description :
Steam verify file cache bug or not working?

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Steam verify file cache
  2. (Auto) Steam detect and download new files
  3. Lauch ToS through steam
  4. (Auto) ToS updater download and patch new files
  5. Quit ToS
  6. Steam re-verify file cache again
  7. [PROBLEM] Detected files not in integrity although just fixed

System

  • CPU : Intel I7-4710MQ
  • RAM : 8 GB
  • Graphics Card : GTX 850M
  • Mainboard : Clevo W65_67SJ
  • Storage : Hard disk drive
  • OS : Windows 10 Vers 1511
  • Internet Connection : Not applicable
  • Country, Region : Malaysia

Thats what happens when they distribute game through steam and still have separate updater/launcher.

What exactly are your problems? What happens when you launch the game?

the patcher loads correctly then after a second or two it closes without the game launching. its kinda weird because i tried everything i can find on the web. btw i can run the game all over everytime it closes again and again. it cant even be found on the task manager

Try the generic deleting of user settings:

  1. Navigate to the Tree of Savior directory
    For example: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior
  2. Enter release folder
  3. Delete user.xml and user_c.xml
  4. Restart Game

TOS can take several minutes to start sometimes so try leaving it for up to 10 minutes. Other potential solutions could be running TOS and Steam in Administrator mode, and turning off any VPN’s, I also recommend restarting Steam and your PC.
