Want to trade my spear for a bow, will it become untradeable?

It will become a normal 2handed velco bow with 5 sockets rather then 3, however the last 2 obviously wont be opened, youll have to do that yourself and the potential will be 4/15.
I myself traded in a clean 1H velco mace for my 2H velco bow;
