I’m sure most of you know the silver seller sites by now. Do a WHOIS lookup on all of them, they’re ALL owned and ran by the Chinese.
Why don’t we just ban Chinese IPs from the game? cToS will probably exist in the future anyway. It’d get rid of most of the bots, most of the spam, and solve a lot of issues.
I really doubt many Chinese people are playing iToS…
VPNs easily get you around an IP Block. These are people that write bots for a living, getting around an IP Block is a joke and it will only harm more legitimate players.
But… Steam already IP banned China to play this international version… no?
Steam has no say in it. It’s just the store, the Chinese are using Russian accounts to buy the game at USD$2.50.
Wouldn’t even make a difference, these sites can easily just get somebody who lives outside of china to log in and run a bot. It’s not difficult. This would just be punishing innocent people while the gold sellers hardly suffer
wait, i remember China is one of the restricted country, cuz they have their own publisher… it changed now?
And my point is… All the chinese guys playing the game now are using VPN cuz there is IP block for China I believe
