sleep also seems to have a similar attribute now, though it has a severe hit limit unlike shrink, and is +100% instead of +120%. I’ll be interested to see sleep + shrink together. would it be additive or would it multiply upward? are we looking at (([base damage] x 2) x 2.2) or would it work as ([base damage] + (100% + 120%))

Archer’s mechanics are dated, but only few classes are bad. Wugushi’s damage is fine for example.

wugushi’s damage may be OK but the class itself has 3 useless skills that no one ever use (bewitch, detoxify, zendu[maybe this is almost decent]) so it still need a revamp

Zhendu is for people taking only 1 circle. Outside of scout and hunter i think the only problem archer has is that most of the midclasses are uninventive.

And Mergen 2.
I think they will change archer a bit the next year after we get the “2018” archer class.

Kind of like alchemist right? :confused:
Outside of Tincturing and Roasting, the other skills are in a bad state as I see it.

DPS race is real lol. I dont know the reason why they removed the vacuum in frost pillar and changed it to another DPS skill. Maybe to balance out E.T teams. If thats the case no need to make it into another DPS skill but another unique mechanic like what it replaces to.

Cleric is just another DPS class now full support wiz is also another DPS class.

No alche revamp. And Pain barrier for wiz after giving one on cleric. Nice linker though and Pyro and even echanter - kino synergy, base wiz is also good but wtf making full supports virtually non existent in this game?

Cryo still has the potential to be a strong control/grouper class, frost pillar will be “hold & attack” skill which means it’s very capable of supporting still.
I assume it’s still able to keep large groups in one place, while snow rolling with the added target count is able to group up large mobs.

Doesn’t seem bad at all, it’s just not the cakewalk it used to be.

Hm, I’m a little confused by the Thauma changes - from what I’m reading they’re neutering the main function of the class? Well, so far I may not need to change my farming FF build hopefully.

Am sure you can dig deeper and find even older examples of it, but like I said “that is that and this is this”

ToS should stick to new things and hopefully making better things not copy/pasting what worked for other without making sure it works here :roll_eyes:

Here’s my bet: they’re going to bring back this concept at R10 with Sage3. We’ll get Black Hole, a skill that will have a long duration vacuum effect like old Frost Pillar and will deal damage.

When casting magic consumes a book, but archery doesnt consume arrow and gunnery doesnt consume bullet. TOS universe is sure convenient

Hell Breath now requires an item - 80 silver

Frost Pillar now requires an item - 80 silver

Swell Left Arm now requires an item - 100 silver

Swell Right Arm now requires an item - 100 silver

Swell Brain now requires two items - 100 silver x2 = 200 silver

Summon Servant now requires an item - 2000 silver

Stop now requires three items - 100 silver x3 = 300 silver

Reincarnate now requires five items - 100 silver x5 = 500 silver

Quicken now requires an item - 100 silver

Haste now requires an item - 100 silver

Back Masking now requires two items - 2000 silver x2 = 4000 silver

Pass now requires an item - 2000 silver

Enchant Lightning now requires ten items + crafting time -> 100 silver x10 = 1000 silver

Enchant Earth now requires an item - 100 silver

Additional info:

The chronomancer needs 2 separate items now.

One low cost item fragment of time (100 silver each) for stop, reincarnate, quicken and haste.

Back masking and Pass use the old item, and the old item dimensional piece price is now 2’000 silver (OLD price was 10’000 silver for dimensional piece). Back masking needs 2x dimensional piece.

Did not read any post of this thread yet. I noticed some players are confused about chronomancer item costs.

Seeing as [enchant lightning] isn’t even all that strong a buff (being only lightning elemental damage), I suppose I can safely not keep it in my enchanter’s arsenal.

the thing that’s bugging me with the consumables is the fact we have to keep buying them, and keeping track of how many we have left. why not just make the skills straight-up consume silver instead of items?

Please dont give ideas…

Frost pillar losing its pull effect is sad, I aggre. But concept wise, it was bad. Ice don’t pull people in, that’s the work of a psychonesis type of attack, or for a space mage like sage.
