Tree of Savior Forum

We lost 50% of our players in two weeks

35k is greater than 25k. so yes.
but that difference is not 50%
and that difference doesnt neccessarily mean they quit.
theres no reason why you should jump to that conclusion other than your own bias

interesting that you replyed this way. so the “point” of this topic was to say that the player base is declining. you where not “just stating stats”

how do you know the percentage of bots vs players? you can’t back up any claim that there are more bots that before.

your 34k number was a peak, the second number should be a peak.
if not then you could have just waited till Tuesday when the server is down for maintenance where there is like 0 people online. Then you can make a post that 100% of the players quit.

do you see the flaw of your conclusions now?

Players come and goes, especially so during launch (when the hype dies down).

We lose people to the stupid restrictions in the game.
Trading is badly made here.
Dungeons are not fun as much as they can be,no interesting bosses.
Its eay to hard to oen a guild.

Yes niche player base that will pay 50$ months so the game will not go down.

Should change to “fair and balanced reporting”…oh wait… nvm it might backfire

You made a post to spread

Fear

Uncertainty

Doubt.

Good job.

and this is the proof of your deliberate intention:

LOL

What a troll.

Make a thread, spreads FUD. Then

lmfao.

This must be like the 4th crap thread of the day.

Don’t forget about 15k of those “players” are the bot armies. So maybe out of 20k real players there are now only about 2k left still playing. Total Remaining: 2k players + 15k bots.

Lol. So many people hilariously overestimating the number of bots. Can’t tell if they seriously believe that or are trolling.

Anyway, as for the topic - Many people took vacation time to nolife the game 24/7 during the opening week, those vacations are now over and they are back to a regular schedule with limited game time. That alone explains a large part of the perceived loss of players as compared to last week.

As for the rest, some people tried it and found out the game wasn’t for them, some people were whiny babies and quit because the game wasn’t 100% perfect as soon as it launched, some people may be waiting until some of the issues get fixed to play.

Overall it’s not a big deal, that’s just how MMOs work, players come and go every day. Your best friend may just one day decide they don’t want to play the game any more and never get on again.

It’s not unusual for players to lose interest in a game after the first two weeks, that’s just normal lol… whats your point?

Many people expected waaaaay WAAAAY too much out of this game after purchasing a founder pack and were bitter that it didn’t meet their expectations -> quit and left bad review.

I knew exactly what to expect, and I am still having a blast like the first day I played.
Also, don’t forget major game releases like Dark Souls 3 and Ratchet and Clank came out recently which probably drained a good portion of players, too.

All in all, useless thread… spreading fear and uncertainty.
Losing players after the initial burst is normal for every MMO.

…and here I am, not caring about the playerbase just playing and enjoying myself.

Imc need to care not you.
You will just pay more if there will be low nombre of players.

I blame the game, a lot of players thought this game would be like ragnarok, but its not, ofc IMC has none responsibility in this subject, because they’ve never said that . Still there is a lot of things that make this game repetitive and boring. Monster’s AI is so low that you need to hit the same monster twice before it follows you. Also repeat every monster sprite is also a mistake, I played games with the same monster’s problem (perfect world), and it is really boring. Every monster gives basically the same experience in their level range, griding doesn’t require any previous research.

But at the end of all this TOS is a unique MMO. It’s not like the other popular titles so it’s natural the players will drop until you see the true fans of the game.

Most players want something like diablo and World of Warcraft. Not many people want to grind for hours on end.

Actually…

It’s not like you are going to be playing with the other 49k players. Just play and enjoy it till you are sick of it.
You don’t leave a game because others are, you do so when you want to.

So what’s the point of this thread again? Explain yourself OP.

Personally our group of 3 only has 1 active now, I and another friend just gonna take a break until the server migration for better ping, you need to wait until after the migration day/F2P to tell

Why do you just want to create a forum circlejerk taht will only make potential plaeyrs who see this quit. No harm was done and you dont seem to know anything about how games never keep the same amount of players online for years taht was on launch week.

People like you just make me angry xD Theres nothing wrong with the current situation as long as the in-game issues get resolved.

Even my lists friends are getting lesser and lesser due to they predict MMO without trade and “MUST” token to further down the road is not what they expected…
After ICBT1/2 ends, Friends of mine often talk about TOS this game, but now never expect the out-come can be so fast within 1-3 weeks the game can see Impact of population…

Reeeaaally misleading thread title and information… :worried:
