You get a nice loading screen at least.
On a serious note, someone in another thread suggested re-verifying game files via Steam client. Seems to fix the loading stuck issue though for some reason it keeps coming back after almost every patch.
Random DCs/crashes have always been a thing though. It’s likely IMC doesn’t know how to replicate the issue. 
little bit of a necro here but if those of you who are having this issue could possibly tell me what class /weapon type you use on the character this has happened to please~
