…They’re just asking if after this CBT experience, did you stay interested or lose interest in the game. There are still far too many issues in the game to expect the next one to be Open Beta.

That’s not really true, they can hold a open beta as a stress test if they fell the need to see how their server handles a realistic work load. Like all F2P game the game won’t officially be out until the cash shop is in it.
Many publishers will hold ‘’‘Closed’’ beta in name only that have in reality no limitation to who can can join, they simply use the closed so nobody confused it as a finished product.

Holding an “Open Beta” during a short period of time for the sole reason of stress-testing only and then performing the mandatory data-wipe afterwards… in the end that’s no different than a CBT.
I am bored to the point that just “Hi!” from developer can blow my mind now.

Based on where the Github English Translation Group is right now, I’d say we have at 1-2 more closed betas before an open beta.
Hype is not good for you, even if OBT happened starting tomorrow, you’ll run into a very buggy, roughly translated game past level 45, not worth OBT.
Give this cake the time it needs to bake…don’t want it rushed out the gate and get horrible feedback because of bugs and translations.
This was most likely a typo, the same way they had to 're-send the announcement emails because the original date was wrong.
Plus given the context of the entire thing, and this ORIGINALLY only being available to CBT 1 testers (they refer to it as CBT1 in the survey, which further reduces the chances of an immediate OBT transition) I doubt it’s means nothing but that they want to know if we’ll stick around.
Though I’d love immediate OBT it just seems highly unlikely.
Getting hyped about something like this week only cause disappointment and grief throughout the community when it doesn’t happen.

Ive seen games that go through major changes between CB and OB. Where their CB was crap and people deemed it wasnt ready for OB and needed another CB. Despite the negative feedback, they launch straight into OB but bugs were fixed, good changes were made and it was more than ready.
Just keep in mind, they have a total of 4 CBTs(krcbt+icbt) so far and 1 CBT coming at the end of this month for indonesian release. Judging by the number of CBTs they have, they should be more than ready. We cant just judge the state of the game by the recent CB we had because they might have something specific that they want to focus on and purposely put everything else at mediocre state.
IMO, its highly unlikely that they enter straight to OB. I would love for another CB at least. But since this is their game after all, i wont be too surprised if they jump straight into OB lol.
Part of me wants another CBT due to the amount of bugs and other issues found in the first one, but another part of me wants OBT so i can play for more than a week and not have to wait another 3 months.
Remember that the Korean beta is still active , and are updating the game day after day , at a fairly rapid pace , it would not be strange that they are accelerating the process to launch the OBT
I don’t think there were so many game-breaking bugs that wouldn’t let open beta to happen and open beta is still a beta… It’s still good for testing and bug reports. But we have to wait for the Korean version to finalize what are they doing now imo.
It’s the second time they mention open beta, and I haven’t seen any more mentions to closed betas (other than the last one for feedback, of course). Yes, this doesn’t mean anything, but I have a feeling the developers themselves would like to release the game as soon as possible. Like they are hyped too. Maybe we will have a bigger gap than the open beta around november-december, who knows.
We can kinda expect a relevant number of CBT as the Korean versions. They are doing extensive and specific tests each CBT i highly doubt they will do a jump that can cause a lot of major issues. We will probably see at least two more closed beta test’s with much higher numbers before an announcement for Open Beta.
We been able to wait for months - until the first CBT popped (i never expect it to happen THAT soon - i was thinking oh well probably some time in 2016) now we are all hyped for the game and wanna play it - because its special and cool and whatever else xD I place my bet on the unexpected things to happen - who knows maybe the next step really is an OBT without whipe of characters?
I am not a fan of rushing things - but in case of ToS i simply dont care xDD i want it now … NOW you here me??
