But not every Necro player is a bot user. =/
I don’t understand why people hate on necro’s so much even if they just play normally.
Warlock has 2 big issues: few reliable offensive spells and long cooldowns in every one of them.
Before Re:build (right now), the most simple way to handle this is having another class with lower cooldowns (or similar ones) on offensive spells and reliable ones so u don’t die before Mastema/Pile of Agony comes back online. Elementalist is a simple solution. His damage is really high (comparable to rank8 spells with enough attributes) and his cooldowns are quite close to Warlock’s. Another class may do the trick (Pyromancer, for instance), but the idea is the same.
With Re:build, nothing changed. Few reliable offensive spells and long cooldowns in every one of them.
But, thanks to the new structure, there are lots of options.
AOE? Pyromancer, Elementalist, Rune Caster, Psychokino…
Single target? Shadowmancer, Necromancer, Bokor, Sage…
Few good classes to combo with Warlock u may like:
Chronomancer: Decreases the cooldowns of all your abilities. Solves half of your problems with a single skill.
Bokor: Able to curse enemies. Cursed enemies take extra damage from dark property spells. Effigy is really good on single target damage with next to no cooldown (4 seconds). And the zombies may keep the monsters busy while u wait for your cooldowns.
Shadowmancer: keeps the theme of “Dark Wizardry” (which sounds cool) and has good single target/small AOE skills. And adds survivability to the kit (Hallucination and Shadow Pool).
Featherfoot: Also able to curse enemies, low cooldown on his main skill (Kundela Slash), a unique sustain for the Wizard Tree, and Levitation.
Rune Caster: Mastema has a unique effect to debuff the enemies hit by it lowering their defenses against Holy property spells. Rune of Justice is one of the only 2 holy property spells in Wizard Tree, and the damage amp is really good.
These are only suggestions. Feel free to do whatever u want. Warlock is a tricky class to play as and, if u choose this path, have fun and take your time to learn the mechanics.
