Warlock fix is this a nerf or a buff

so lets light up another candle comrade warlocks and join my incantation

:ghost: “let dark theurge be buffed please - we want one hit per spirit per skill level”
:ghost: “give us a bigger pole to destroy our enemies”
:ghost: “have mercy on us and give us usefull c2&c3 skills”
:ghost: “make the evocation-buff work properly”

and now ur comparing a ele 3 to a warlock 1, then again i already mentioned, warlock 2-3 already had more hits? so how about using ur own 50 hits 50x 8662.5 = 433125?

frost cloud can only be capped at 5 levels, because its already the maxed out skill of elementalist, there will never be ele 4 or ele5. and btw, incase you forget, frost cloud also had the pain of not being able to hit air units. which kinda limit its uses in some case. being the final skill of a class, if it doesn’t have any decent power, it will be obsolete when future ranks or classes are uncapped

What do you want me to compare it against?

And yeah, isn’t it wonderful that a monster gemmed rank 9 single target skill can surpass the damage of a rank 6 AoE one? :wink:

and btw, i never said warlock needed to be nerf to 5hits, the rightful amount i believe would be 10hits or 15 hits at most. personally i prefer 10. i agree it needed nerf because at 20-25 hits its too much. :slight_smile:

You mean something that would hit for as much as Sorcerer’s c2 (10 hits, rank6) skill or Necro’s c1 (15 hits, rank6) skills? Yeah, that’s a balanced r7 skill. :joy:

I can confirm that Dark Theurge lvl5 does not hit 20 times on our previous patches I had it lvl5 for quite sometime and did a lot of testing, the hits are ridiculously inconsistent sometimes it would hit for a total of 10, sometimes 12 and so forth. What I am hoping for this patch is if its going to constantly hit a specific number hopefully its not some BS number like 5 hits ALL in ALL because that would put warlock c1 on below average tier.

That calculation is wrong btw. Arde dagger damage is flat 153 and can’t be enhanced by multipliers.

With 1600 matk, 1200 base damage, Lvl 75 attribute:
[(2800 x 1.5QC x 1.75 x 1.1) + 153] x 20 = 164760 dmg

Compare to carnivory lvl 10 1800 base dmg, cause why not :slight_smile:
[(3400 x 1.75) + 153] x 40hits = 244120

And clerics dont even have Quick cast attributte

This is false. Skill dmg % attribute modifiers are final on damage and will multiply elemental prop attack damage due to this.

@Mirarara @moises_andre12 @Artamian I just tested, and… it’s awesome now. All they did was fix how so very janky/lag the skill ass - all hits come out in a constant, seamless stream now.

Hit count is still the same, 15 hits at level 4 (3 hits per spirit). Should be 20 at level 5, but no divine might to test right now.

Holy sh.it i’m going Warlock now LOL, too strong. I’m still at 198 so i can see how things work out till i get to 22x (praying to GOD they release some tips on new ranks =D).

Good on them to not ruin a skill that didn’t need a nerf.

Can someone test if the fix has any side effects going for Evil Sacrifice?

that would actualy be awesome. Is it real? Have you tried it? Can you upload a printscreen or video of it? Until now Evil Sacrifice was pretty much useless from what everyone was saying so this is big news.

Be mind full with math, most of bonus have tiers. Same tier bonus stacks additively, different tier stacks multiplicatively.
