Elememe Warlock 2 is still pretty strong. Frost Cloud is starting to fall off but if you got ~100 attribute and 2k+ matk you can still kill a pack of mobs probably. The biggest problem would be the fact that everone can burst now so 10 seconds is sort of too much time for it’s damage.
Linker 3 Warlock 2 is stronger and more versatile PvE/ET-wise. Linker 3 is only support though, you get bad at bossing and some specific content though. It is, as far as I know, considered meta DPS wizard as of now.
Linker can link only 10 targets max, what if i have 11 or more?
Ofc its rare but still, linker have too many limitations for me.
And next thing is linker is useless on bosses/single target compared to ele3.
For linker build its still better to take Chrono/FF/Necro/Sorc, not Warlock. It is just not optimal. Maybe on R9.
So yeah, ele3/w2 is still strong with 90+ attributes. Transcendence and upcoming new 300+ items only help to keep 1 FC = 1 pack of mobs dead.
We saw that korean video with ele3 soloing new content. But he was without new weapon and without 8 chappa cards. (only 5 or 6 equipped)
With that, this guy can achieve ~15k FC tick (45k per second for 4s=180-190k plus another 6s without chappa ~160k). Its enough to kill strongest pack in game (excluding ET ofc).

It is work, but you are cripple yourself on bosses and single target.
Warlock have good synergy with Ele.
Linker1/2 is only for brainless grind, nothing more, but taking a low rank classes on rank7/8 is a terrible idea.

And do you know what happened to all the skills debate?
Whether to max mastema or dark theurege or whether the c2 skills are worth it. If you know or heard from anywhere, I’d like to know the optimal skill points allocation for c2 warlocks, now that the patch is out in korea.
I hardly believe there are tests made thoughoutly available right.
Drain and Sabbath are worth 0 points right now because Drain isn’t working at all and Sabbath is a bad concept to begin with (Bwa Kaiman like, no CC and consumes the spirits instead of the way zombies don’t explode on that)
About Mastema: I will test it myself as soon as we get it. IF there is increse in the DoTs damage from every skill level, this will be the place to put all of your remaining points. If they only scale with attributes, matk and quickcast, but not with skill level, then Level 1~2 (whatever to get the attribute) is fine.
For WB Hunters, PoA is a very solid damage skill, even on long cooldown, alied with a PoA scroll and yours being level 15 you could have ~40% uptime even on that stupid huge cooldown. (27 seconds + 10~14 (not sure) DoT seconds followe by a 8 + 10~14 seconds one, considering you fully use DoTs). Obviously, too stationary, not practical since has too long CD, 1 point is fine.
Evil Sacrafice is a way to use invocation while drain doesn’t get fixed, poor damage and buggy, I have it for PvP.
DT 10 is obvious, Invocation is mostly about what you want: You can have 100% uptime on level 7 Invo with +5 seconds new attribute and the same number of hits as level 8. level 9 if you +1 hit or 10 if you want it for ET (since you generaly have Divine Might for important skills)
