Want to transfer from Orsha to Klaipeda to play with friends? Too Bad -- IMC Doesn't Care!

Here’s my ticket to IMC and their response.

Hello,

When I first started playing (on 3/29 at approximately 5:20 am CST) I was attempting to connect to the Klaipeda server. I kept getting disconnected, so I tried Orsha to see if I could connect to that one. I was able to connect to Orsha on my first try. However, I did not want to play on Orsha as all of my friends were going to play on Klaipeda (and they are). After connecting to Orsha, I closed the game, checked for a patch, and reopened the game. When the game reopened, I clicked to connect to Klaipeda and it let me connect on my first try, so I started playing.

After about 20 minutes or so of playing, I decided to go back to the character select screen and use my $50 DLC pack to help me level up and to get my free pet. I associated it to my main character, and continued playing. Shortly after that however, I was unable to add my friend who was also playing at that time, and to my surprise, it turned out I was somehow playing on Orsha server.

What I want to know is if I will ever be able to transfer from Orsha to Klaipeda so that I can rejoin my friends?

I don’t expect it to happen immediately, and I don’t mind waiting for it (if it can’t happen until after full release at the end of April, then that’s fine) – I just want to know if I’ll ever be able to do it or not. I have more friends who are starting to play, and I need to know if I will ever be able to play with them on Klaipeda.

I would even be willing to pay up to $10 for a one time transfer to Klaipeda – though I don’t know how well the community would receive a paid transfer.

The services of transferring your Team/Character or unopened DLC Pack to Fedimian server (The EU server) or Telsiai server (SEA server) are currently under development. The official start and the details of these services will be posted on our official website soon.

As for your specific situation, unfortunately, the Team transfer between Orsha and Klaipeda or from Fedimian to Orsha or Klaipeda is not available. We apologize for any inconvenience, it might have caused.

It was your fault though. It’s really unfortunate, but you really can’t blame them for that.

I don’t blame them for it. Read the post. All i wanted was a “Yes, one day we will allow the transfer”.

They’re allowing some server transfers but not all? Why? it’s the same process either way.

do you seriously think it’s their fault? they already gave an estimate time when the server transfer will be available. be patient. they have to fix the bottleneck issue first before doing transfers. try running a company like IMC and tell me if it’s easy.

They gave an estimate for the EU and SEA servers. Read my full post before you start speaking ignorantly. They specifically said, “too bad so sad”.

Because they’re different. If you look at the news/announcement section, you’ll understand why it’s different.

Also, don’t call other people ignorant when you yourself are. It’s ironic.

Server transfers are bothersome and very, very annoying to do.
In the current game state what the staff least wants is more work to have.

I fully support their decision, if you made a char on orsha but “want to transfer now cause you don’t want orsha” that’s entirely your fault. No other big MMO would hold your hand and say “ok, let me fix all your problems for you now”.

You made a decision to go to a different server from your friends. Also stating you DID NOT want to play on Orsha and you still went to make a character there anyways. EVEN THOUGH your friends are on Klaipeda.

How are you surprise by this YOU INTENTIONALLY made a character on Orsha server and was surprised when you can’t play with people that are not on that server.

How are you surprised you are playing on Orsha you stated, that you clicked on Orsha connected and created a character. How are you surprised you are playing on a server you clicked and created a character on.

Your entire post is contradicting. You state you made a character on one account KNOWING your friends are on another account. You INTENTIONALLY OPEN a founder pack on a character YOU KNOW is on a different server then your friends.

They only state in their announcement in transfer for EU/SEA if trouble arise. If anything of a transfer for USA server would be if they open a 3rd or 4th server for NA and let you transfer there. Why would they let you transfer account to a already heavily populated server. MAKES NO SENSE.

Stop using childish logic and think before you post.

you read “we don’t have plans for that” and you wildly jump to the conclusion “it will NEVER be available”.

just like waiting for the server to become available, you’re going to have to wait for them to get the game running stably before they start caring about “convenience” transfers.

NA to EU and NA to SEA are only being offered because trans-oceanic pings make most games fairly hard to play.

Every single person saying it’s my fault for “choosing Orsha” did not even read the post.

I’m shocked by how every single person replying is so eager to flame that they don’t see reason. Must be Trump voters.

you couldn’t login/ stay logged in on Klaipeda, so you went to Orsha instead.
you played for a whole 20 minutes (what a masterful example of self-control and waiting there.)
logged off, and logged back in.

now at this point, you should have been suspicious that you had the wrong character there.
…if you picked the same name, and hair, and had the same gear on both characters, then just picture me facepalming heavily right here, and it’s 90~100% your fault for making no distinction between characters on different servers. you probably should have checked more closely that “Klaipeda” was actually the server you had selected. (ToS remembers most-recent server visted, so if you didn’t click on K, it would have automatically logged you back onto O.)
…if you DIDN’T pick the same name/hair/etc… then it’s 200% your own fault for not paying attention to what you were doing.

and then, without double-checking what you were doing, delivered your cash prizes to “a” character, and carried on.

at some point it seems pretty much like -you- had to fail to check your work, to arrive at this situation.

Again, you did not read. I connected to Orsha and disconnected at the team name creation screen. I never even created a team name before disconnecting. After that, I relogged, selected Klaipeda, got in, created a character and team name for the first time, and started playing.

So, your entire argument is void.

Stop wasting your time here, and go troll someone who has less common sense than you.
