Want to make a swordsman but idk?

Alright so to start, I did play closed beta 2 but I never really had a solid feel it because I just did not have the time for :confused:

What I am wondering is what would be a very good PVM build? I dont really care much about pvp right now, I just need a build of whatever that would be powerful and fairly do-able

I played a berserker so it was like pump all the dex… kk booom everything is dead its def a little different from what I understand now >.>

(Side note, I dont care what class combo etc I like all swordsman styles of play)

Depends on the class you actually want, be more specific.

Thats the thing I just want to play the best PVM type swordsman basically want it for bosses/farming/instances or raids or whatever

I dont care what classes it takes to get there I just dont know what to do really?

Here are three builds. Choose.

Sword - Pelta - Highlander3 - Doppel2
Sword - Highlander3 - Hoplite2 - Dragoon
Sword - Pelta - Hoplite3 - Doppel - Dragoon

Some more:

Sword - Pelta2 - Rode2 - Fencer2
Sword - Highlander3 - Corsair2 - Shinobi

Well, this is what I’m going for my swordie alt, tank PvE.
You’ll be the tank of the party, which is the job of swordies in PvE anyways

I read you response on the other post, and I like your sword-hightlander3-corsair-doppel 2 build, but I dont know what stat I have to put, can you help me with that plz?

Be prepared, though, that this is Doppel specifically built for PvP, because it has Corsair1.
Are you alright with this?

This build only work on pvp¿? and if I want a build able to do pvp and pve? Need to change something of that? Maybe : Sword - Pelta - Highlander3 - Doppel2 ?

Well, without Corsair you wouldn’t do better in PvP, since it has skills you need. For PvE you need to change one class at the beginning.

What do you prefer?

Of course you can. Go with Sword - Peltasta - Highlander3 - Doppel2.

But with peltasta do not know what skills choose, because 3 of them are for 1hand and shield.

If you can explain I would really appreciate it

If you go Peltasta, do this:

Guardian - 1.
Swash Buckling - Max.
Umbo Blow - Max.
Rim Blow - 4.

Guardian suck, you only take it for Evasion Attribute.

But that skills only work with 1 hand dont undestand why to pick peltasta if Im going to play with two handed, and for stats 2 str 1 dex 1 con?

Because apart from Pelta, Corsair is the only Circle that helps with the synergy. You basically have to choose. So, if you are going PvE, Peltasta is the obvious choice.

Also, if you didn’t know, there is a thing in this game, called Weapon Swap. You can use 1H + Shield and 2H Swords at the same time with no problem.

4:1:2 or 4:2:2, with 4 - STR, 1/2 - CON and 2 - DEX.

Something like 3STR:1CON. Or 4STR:1CON
