Hi guys, i love tankers as i’ve been played with that class for a long in anothers mmo’s, since ToS are not like others i can make an versatile variation of it imo.

Well, the Character name is “The Wall” nice huh? And my focus will be PvE mostly, a lil PvP later just for fun, i don’t care about Meta builds or w/e i just want to be able to deal some DPS and tanker like truck man, my stats will be for the early game STR till 50 invested points, CON only the extra points for now, DEX will be invested after reach 50 invested STR points, now i’m lv 40 and want to know from the veterans players here, what kind of build i should go? when i reach rank 3 i’m planing to go Peltasta again. so please help me =P

Edit* Now i’m at Rank 4 Rode c1 (Sword1>Pelta1>Hop1>Rod)
STATS : STR 102(50 invested) CON 46 (24 invested) DEX 34(20 invested)

Pelt2>Rodel3>Shinobi>Murm
Sword2>pelt>rodel3>murm

Peltasta 3 is a beast.
Langort is good, Umbro Thrust is good, Butterfly is very good

in my peltasta i have only swash buckler and umbo blow at lv 5, peltasta 3 are that good?

Yes, since you are a tank/support Having armor break is very important

as for DPSing don’t worry, Butterfly is very strong.

The hell part is Rodel1-2, but Rodel3 is a massive power spike.

You can, Armor break > High Kick > Shooting star / Butterfly

nice, and my stat distribution are ok? and i think when i reach r8 with murmillo i will shine as off dps don’t?

For some specific scenarios, yes.

If you really want to deal dps you should take shinobi, but you won’t have your armor break and have to get it from others (HL3 friends/etc)

Your DPS/Burst revolves around high kick and lethargy attribute from friends

This is only a theorycraft but:
Pelt > HL > Rod 3 > Shinobi > Murm

No armor break, but you will have high kick + Cartar which is very strong, sadly shinobi can’t copy cartar yet, but you can do bunshin>high kick>shooting star

yup, but it’s not “only” cartar, it’s the strongest strike type skill on the swordsman tree, you can do 100k with it easily with high kick, with modifiers it can even reach 400k+ per cartar (for doppels)

it’s a nice damage, but for what i see, we can’t escape from shinobi at r7

Yes, but pelt 2 isn’t that good anyway so…you can go with sword 2 or Hl1

pelt 2, but pelt3 worth the sacrifice? and if i choose to sw2 it’s mainly for buffs r8?

Pelt3 isn’t really a sacrifice, because it will be your core if you decide to pick it up

Umbo Thrust = armor break, no armor for debuffed targets, makes low base damage skills very usable, high level maps have 1k+ def

Butterfly = High base damage, boosted by murmillo, boosted by High kick

Langort = your only pierce source aside from thrust, until murm

Pelt 3 > Armor Break
Rod 3 > Slithering tanking (from rod 2), High kick (Very good strike multiplier)
Murm > Boosts both your best attacks from lower ranks, which are butterfly and Shooting star

Shinobi > gimmicky burst, you will sacrifice either rod3 or pelt3, but it’s better to sacrifice pelt 3 if that’s the case

You can go Hoplite 1 . For synchro thrusting ( which scales damage on your shield def). Furthermore, it gets a 280% damage bonus boost on Murmilo. Synchro Thrusting works on all weapons as long as you have a shield. Lastly, you can equip a Spear which is really good weapon aside from five hammer gem stacking.

seems solid, and are u going to murmillo at R8? And what you gonna do in lv 300+ maps? ppl are saying that magic damage there are a huge problem, and u have any problem solo leveling / dpsing?

and what about pierce and stabbing? u leveled then?

reading the replies, you guys forgetting that slithering has attribute to increase strike damage 100%
