Yeah but on the flip side you get to use this pet with all of your characters.
Well, for what it’s worth I agree with you, but I really think there are more urgent issues atm and I don’t want to distract IMC from them

I think pets should have different slots…what can be also restricted with 2-3 slots maybe…but they shouldn’t take up a normal char slot.
I do agree that’s kinda a wasted slot if you wanna try out several builds…
I was kind of disappointed too, but eh, oh well. Just means no Cataphract, Schwarzreiter, Hunter, or Falconer for me I guess.

Dont worry becuase:
- pets can be shared for all your teams
- in KTOS they are implementing 3 collections that reward you with additional character slot (in the latest patch note)
So, i think it should be fine
its not like we are getting any kTOS changes…
we are sitting here on double nerfed skills atm while kTOS is getting buffs
we will get it, after they fixed those bot stuff
You say bad things about it now, but if you level an archer with e.g. falconer (takes one slot aswell) + mb hunter + companion you are leveling 4 chars at the same time in terms of team xp. Suddenly your next char levels 20% faster.
Im ok with pets taking a slot -to a degree.
You know its REALLY bad system in a way that pet are handled curently - all new pets are taking more and more slots.
i know, that you pleb will be satisfied with one or two pets -but im a Collector, and im not going to purchase extra slot just to put more pets in them. (im ok with 3 pet slot, so all base one, im not ok with more and more slots required for all those pets)
Why it is bad system: item store SHOULD deliver pets avaible only there, its extra profit for IMC.
But now - i need a extra slot for every new pet AND i need to level each pet from FIRST level <<< yeah, thats not going to happend.
Instead - IMC should redesign pet system and sell “pet skins”. So you have lets say “headgehog” pet (allready leveled), you purchase pet skin “deer” or “vyvern” and you equip it on your old pet.
Now he look like new pet
No new slot needed, and no pet leveling needed
OTHER problem
Im NOT OK - with falcons taking slots AT ALL.
Falcons -CANT be used by 99% of classes, and even for Falconers they are not behaving like “normal” pets
Falcons -should NOT take a slot
btw there are two more birds companion allready in development -Owl and Toucan.
I bet they will also be Falconer exclusive

Fantastic idea. Seriously, will throw money at IMC to get my hedgehog pet. If there is a need to level up a new pet from 1, probably will refrain from buying it.
