VPN? anyone knows a good one?

Hello people, I saw a post about one global or multiple servers but in the case there is only 1 global server
do you recommend WTFast or any VPN service in order to reduce lag?
because if there’s only 1 global server i guess it will be in USA
and im from south america,i usually have 160 to 200 ping on USA servers, for MOBAS it suck but for this kind of mmo is that a “big” problem?
if it does affect my gameplay should I use WTFast or something?

160-200 ping is actually pretty decent for a MMO but give it a shoot maybe with WTFast you will get a better ping

I like pingzapper…

never Heard of it, ill give it a try thx

About the VPN, It really depends if you can set up one yourself. (if you know how to use Linux, it’s quite simple).

But I don’t think you should worry too much about it. Sure you’ll sometimes notice it, but AFAIK ToS doesn’t suffer very much from a 200ms lag. You’ll have some difficulties with dodging boss timed attacks at worst, but everything else should be playable without too much annoyance.

Better keep your money for something better than improving slightly your ping in that kind of game.

PS : Don’t trust WTFast.

There are ways to make your net teensy bit faster. Don’t trust any program that offer “Oh you got a dial-up connection? Use our program and you’ll get 1 terabyte per sec”, there’s none of that, only wet dreams. Some method, such as using google DNS might change your speed a little, other than that is using a game virtual program that only plays your game without anything running in the background (that eats up your net)

Why shouldn’t I trust WTFast? I’ve been using it for a few months and it helps me with games that I get 200+ ping with normally.

Basically, if you use WTFast, you’re paying for something you should already have when paying for your internet connection. Better pay for a VPS which you can use for a lot of things for half the price than an expensive servive that doesn’t even tell you what it does.
Also, I don’t trust this company enough to give them all my plaintext traffic information.

But WTFast is free. I don’t need to pay anything. The improvement from subscribing seems to be minimal from what I’ve seen.
