I started doing some testing on my fletcher with pistol auto attacks, it seems like the line pierce has no aoe limit and will just hit everything in its path, but the line aoe is very narrow. You also cannot move.
If a QS3 using manamana can test it out to see if it’s viable to be a machine gun turret piercing down 3-4 monsters at a time, that would be pretty amazing.
If u cant find wall on retreat shot, hold normal attack (Z button) during retreat shot. It helps a lots.
Worth enhance concentrated fire & caracole/limacon (by buff) to lv 50 ?
It’s a pistol weapon mechanic, works for any class that uses pistol. Take note it’s AA if very slow tho.
I can confirm it works as a Corsair3. I have shitton of AoE ratio too (~11-12), so it hits a ton of mobs too.
Tested it, if u use running shot the bonus damage/attack speed doenst apply to ur off-hand weapon, if u use kneeling shot u cant even shoot ur off-jand weapon, so NOPE. No deal U.U
Actually the attack speed does carry over for pistol auto attack just not the damage modifier. Test it at lemprasa pond target dummies. You’ll get about 32-33 shots with normal pistol autos within 27s while with running shot but on you’d hit well over 40 shots under the buff duration.
QS was once “trendy”, but now with the incoming new Limacon, people are saying that A2-R3-SR3 are better than A2-QS3-RS3, i particullary disagree since the Pavise Shield, Stuns with Caltrops and stone shot have more utility, since you are only using Non SR aoe skills when they are in cooldown.I don’t know the damage burst a Ranger 3 can do so i might be wrong too.
anybody knows if the new limacon really substitute running shot? i hope as an A2-SQ3-SR2 myself, that it sucks, or at least be equal Running shot, because my lv 8 running shot , once godly ever for a single target , seens less and less appealing when 100k+ hp mobs appears. :\
The new Limacon is a buff allow you to use Pistol while moving. You will get both effect from Limacon and Running Shot buff. Additional, Limacon will have an attribute make the pistol does splash dmg around target.
So in the end, QS3 build will have an extra aoe for their auto attack. You just need to use C instead of Z.
I see… But, can you shoot them simultaneously (pressing z and c) stacking 2 damages, or using one delays the other ?
you cannot using both , because that not fair for corsair . they got double weapon assault but cannot use it with pistol
