Now, test your theory and record everything. Use einsof, food camp buff, goddess statue, steroids, etc. just to make your hp reach 1m. Party up 1 of your guild mate so we can see the you only got the hp buffs, then cast shield charge skill and let your guild mate take it. Just to make things clear, 65% of 1m hp is 650k hp right? Now, find a dps and see if your guild mate can tank 650k worth of dmg.
Now about the bet.
If my statement is wrong, I will give my solmiki shield to you. 
And if your statement is wrong, you will go back to your mother guild AH. Why? Coz I miss your “All Hail Avantheim” shouts.

Does x№ on the shield line of other guild members ring a bell for ya? I guess not.
I don’t need to prove anything to some noname guy on the forum, let alone wasting time on making a video to prove you are uterly wrong - for me it’s more than enough that we use Templar and his skills, including Shield Charge, properly and get profit from it on the daily basis.
The sacrifice for your guild is worthy of recognition but no cube for templar…
Why is it the numbers are different?
If your shield is x9, the source of shield for your guild mates. Their shield number should also be x9 right? I wonder why the shield number are not all the same. Does it ring a bell for yah? I guess not. 
And what’s with all of these got to do of having a name in tree of forums. Did my biceps shine so bright and it blinded you also? You think you are famouse in the world of internet?

After making more thorough tests it turned out, that I was wrong about Shield Charge’s scaling. And you were right. Different numbers on shield pool lines actually misleaded me in thinking, that it scales with Templar’s HP. According to the description and caption formula.
So yes, turnes out that it is not that effective as I initially thought. Though still very good if used with Ein Soif via Share Buff. No surprise you made such a bet, apparentely you tested it more thorough than me. But facts are facts - I was wrong and I don’t have problems with admitting it.
So this is how it all ends, I was anticipating for more fun…
Anyways, just a piece of advice for you my fellow templar. Rule numbah wan, never trust IMC descriptions.
And make your templar dps, at least equip it with bittergina card while it still haven’t nerfed. You’re guild mates are rejoicing with their cubes while you, contributing as a support didn’t get any cubes. I feel sad for the other supports as well for not hitting the boss at least couple of times. 
That’s all. Now go forth and spread the word of templars.

The shield’s maximum health is equal to 2 times your own HP.
Indeed, Shield Charge scales with the Templar’s HP, but it’s limited by the person’s HP.
Exactly. So the fatter person is the fatter shield he gets.

Seeing how long this thread has been dragging on, all the confusions it created , for some ppl probably spent extra hours back testing to back up their points. Just remind me of how “self-explanatory” the original video is supposed to be. XD. Perhaps the community really not “serious and experienced” enough. lol. Really made me wonder why ppl can’t just be nice and modest towards each other. Really need to be Mr Savior I know it all every time?

The strategy is the same, what’s being discussed is more nuanced mechanics that you don’t have to know to do the same thing. The video is intrinsically self-explanatory given you’ve played the game for a good amount of hours.
