This is the build im using (or will finish using).

The reason to have 1 Point in Thrust is simply for the Bleed Attribute, so be sure to get it.
You combo it with either Restrain or Helm Chopper.

The reason for the Barbarian is in Cleave, giving you an extra 50 Crit Rate to your build.
Helm Chopper is also nice to combo with Thrust for the Bleed and for the extra Stun.
OR
If you dont plan on going with a Crit Build, then opt for Cataphract or Hoplite, giving you more damaging tools and access to Spears.

Lastly you have Shinobi.
Shinobi is the icing on the cake, bringing you awesome tools like the Clones, further increasing your damage!

Now I just need to decide between the corsair or a lancer xD
How do you feel about this build when it comes to AoEs? Do it have a good amount of them? By the describtions it seens like Kunai and Pistol shoot would be the only ones.
Also, I was reading the pillaging attribute and a doubt stuck my mind. Does it work when you are not in a party? Or you need to be in a party (and be the leader) for it to work?

AoE is great on this build and Pillage works wen your alone as well, thats why people make corsairs for farming.
Dust Devil is AoE
Hexen Dropper is AoE
Pistol Shot (with Attribute) is AoE
Pretty much everything is an AoE other then using your Hook.
Double Weapon Assault is great fun wen dealing with big packs, specially with Restraint from Swordsman, you stun lock groups of mobs.
Shinobi with clones, makes everything you already have even better.

I ended choosing the Lancer build before the Corsair one, but i probable gonna give Corsair a shot latter (well i’m still Hoplite 1, maybe i will change my mind again and end going Corsair with that char anyway xD).
One thing i would like to point, on the video your stamina don’t go down when you use double weapon assault (probably because the considerat de highlander master place as a city part). I pointing this more for you to keep in mind for future videos, if a class has a skill that use stamina it would be better to show that skill outside of that map.
Give the corsair a go, you wont be disappointed
Yeah i need to make a video about DWA, i didnt mention the interaction with Jolly Roger.
Jolly Roger reduces the Stamina consumption of DWA by a lot if you skill up JR.
