I am the person in question of botting in this thread. Someone just brought this thread to my attention so I have not been able to defend myself before now.

I believe I am being falsely accused of “botting”. Several players in game have also attempted to grief me due to “botting” out of ignorance of what botting actually is. Botting by definition is the automation of actions such that your character is being controlled by a script instead of an actual person at the keyboard.

In my situation, I am using 2 separate computers (different MAC/IPS) with 2 separate steam accounts. I am using a hardware KVM switch to connect a single keyboard to both computers and am manually sending each individual input to the computers (not using any macros or scripts). Prior to early release and a few days ago, I checked the Terms of Service and there is nothing against 1) Owning more than 1 account2) Operating more than 1 account at a time3) Using a Hardware or Software device tool that connects a single keyboard to multiple computers that does not violate any of the terms listed in the terms of service

If the Tree of Savior team believes my actions to be unfair and chooses to modify the Terms of Service to clearly state that such actions are not allowed, or makes an official statement that such actions are not allowed, then I will desist and stop controlling two accounts at the same time.

As of now, I am still operating my accounts in accordance to the given terms and have not been told otherwise by an IMC staff or GM and do not believe I am in any wrong.
