Viable Monk build

God finger flick can crit 200 000 damage with my set up.
Energy blast with the same set up and same attribute does 6.7k damage a tick and does not get anywhere near what flick does.

One Inch punch was always good to max for the duration and tick damage. now it also does huge damage.

I did some testings last night on this, and I was able to push flick to 200 000 as stated before
One Inch punch got to like 120k or so.
Hand knife and Palm strike are at around 40-50k now for me.

Double punch is 4 - 5 casts a second with 14k non crits and 23k crits for me.
Energy blast 6.7k crits… GG

Hi @Kostik interesting build and damage, can you set-up a video on the current hunting grounds 280 or 300+ or orange weapon mats? Emmet as a sample. Is this viable on those maps too for hnting.

Sure, I am at work right now.
I will do one tonight when I get home. (in about 9 hours)

— however with the recent changes to IMC policy about leticia cube, this might be a very last thing I do on ToS

Been trying both leather and plate, heavy strength focused and heavy dex focused…

Now I just can’t see myself justifying going high/full dex and leather.

Any physical damage oriented class with high dex, the right gear and leather armor will do high damage regardless.

It just seem to me monk3-inq doesn’t benefit much from dex beside the increase attack speed. There is also the speed cap like you said. Once your dex reach the point of 200+, you will hardly notice anymore increase in attack speed… So why go more dex? I feel that because monk3-inq will usually use a shield, we would benefit even more by going for CON (block, max hp, stamina) instead of so much dex. Like 100str, 150/200dex and rest into con. Plate armor.

I would understand if a swordie still want to go full dex because concentrate from SW3 scales immensely well with dex… and some swordie skills also scale with atkspeed. For us clerics, the only benefit is atk speed for monk and that’s it. We can’t exactly play a ā€œhigh crit rateā€ build since we got no skills that boost crit rate beside from gear…

Thanks looking forward to it. Oh so are you leveling some alts at the moment? what’s with Leticia (you don’t need to answer this)?

Alternative
Cleric C3, Diev C1, Monk C3.
Drop Laima.
Heal 15 under 20% CDR means no one should be dying, period.
Drop Guardian Saint on an ally if you are in a mission/party so you can get the stamina recovery.
Carve 5.

Can you cast Guardian Saint on yourself? I’d enjoy STA recovery

No it is a party skill.
You will get the Stamina recovery when you cast it on an ally.

Because I never use it once I reach Monk with DP, it s a single target skill that is only better against plant type mobs.

I just tried it on a party member and my HP/SP recovery in character screen stayed the same so I don’t think it gives you any of the buffs.

Edit: actually I think the SP portion works but not HP and idk how to tell if STA is. TBH I already dislike the skill because of how dependent it is on party members actually stepping on it, which they dont. Explaining it every single dungeon would get annoying too.

I believe you need to sit or stand still for the stamina regen to take effect.
Which occasionally should give you 2 stamina instead of 1 with Guardian Saint active.

I couldn’t be arsed to test it further, it’s a pain in the arse to test and use.
