Very bad connection speed

Hi, for the past 2 weeks or so, I have been farming the 330 dungeon. However, seems like my connection is really bad. When my character is walking, I often get “teleported” back to a spot I walked. When I attack, character often just perform the attack animation and get stuck there for like 2-3 seconds (without actually executing the attack skill because skills did not go into cooldown or use up an overheat).

I thought it was just because of how bad the server is, but I asked around people online and they seem to be doing fine. My guess is the new antivirus McAfee I installed (which was roughly 2 weeks ago, too), but I tried turning it off and did not improve my connection speed. I’m sure my connection speed to everything else is just fine.

Any ideas or experiences welcomed, thanks. It’s so painful to play like this X(

I share your pain the game is almost unplayable to me now

I can only hope next patch fixes it or at least that’s what I tell myself every week

This has absolutely nothing to do with your connection. This is a known bug that had been fixed around May this year and reappeared exactly the day the r10 patch was released, probably due to a bad code merge.

Don’t bother… I was playing totally fine with zero lag/freeze between May and September, and as soon as the r10 patch was released it was game over. Can’t be a simple coincidence, it has to be a problem with that patch.

The problem is that I CANT find the exact patch around May that fixed the issue, so I cannot submit a ticket saying “you fixed that in this patch, but now the problem reappeared”.
