Bug Description :
As the title says; the effects of both items do not work on bosses. Why is that?

Any response would be greatly appreciated. There was no post whatsoever regarding the effects of these items being nullified by bosses.
well, i have an ignition myself and it procs both with auto attacks and from spells. Venom will only proc from auto attacks when you are using your side weapon to attack (you have to attack with the dagger and not with the rod to get the effect to trigger)
Ignition also procs on dagger attacks. My problem is that both do not proc on bosses it seems. 
Also, I mainly use my dagger to attack and I know the conditions for the Venom procs.
i finally got my venom done and i was able to test and you are correct.
Ignition + Venom will proc simultaneously on regular mobs (small, medium, large and elites).
But it will NEVER proc on bosses (quest bosses, dungeon bosses, world bosses).
This clearly isn’t working as intended and has to be fixed, lets try to summon the GMs here so they can address this issue.
It’s not just those items, Temere for instance will not proc on a boss either. Didn’t in icbt2 and doesn’t now. I think this is as-designed for consistency as some items later may have more meaningful procs.
Although I’d rather they address in the item description itself any intended limitations (i.e. adding “Will not trigger on boss type monsters” etc).
Yeah, it was really disheartening when I found out the effects didn’t work. I farmed the materials for 3 days, not to mention the money that I saved up for the recipe. T______T

It’s not just venom and ignition. The necromancer class defining debuff “Decay” never shows up on bosses either, which I think is a huge deal.
I don’t think Decay is supposed to work on bosses, but Ignition and Venom used to work during the beta, so they should work now. I hope this gets fixed soon.
