Vaivora Pistol bug?

So, i just got my Vaivora Pistol and i notice that:

First: If i use the skill Piercing Heart, automatically my skill R.I.P get 20 seconds of cooldown, so if i use piercing heart, i can’t use R.I.P.
Second: If i use the skill Annihilation, automatically my skill R.I.P get 20 seconds of cooldown, so i also can’t use R.I.P.
Third: If i use skill the skill Instant Acceleration, automatically my skill R.I.P get 20 seconds of cooldown, so i also can’t use R.I.P.
Fourth: If i use the skill Behead, automatically my skill R.I.P get 20 seconds of cooldown, so i also can’t use R.I.P.
Fifth: If i use the skill Impale Dagger, automatically my skill R.I.P get 20 seconds of cooldown, so i also can’t use R.I.P.

Basically, i can’t use any assassin’s skills and and some Corsair skill, if not automatically my skill R.I.P get a cooldown of 20 seconds. So, does assassin’s and bullet market still combine if i use vaivora pistol?

Can anyone help me with that or i am doing something wrong? Is this a bug?

Overheat is only returned to you after the skill enters full cooldown, and the skill enters cooldown upon unequipping the weapon.

Looks like RIP enters cooldown the moment you use a dagger skill regardless of if you used any overheats of RIP at all. Only real way around it is to use RIP first and watch the cooldown so you aren’t using a dagger skill when it’s ready again. Kinda unfortunate it works that way :neutral_face:

This is intentional. KToS also reported it as a bug, but IMC said it’s not a bug.

IMC’s statement was that the pistol was created for gun scouts to use, and it specifically states in the tooltip for Vaivora Pistol that swapping the pistol will put R.I.P. in cooldown, which includes autoswapping.

Shield scout nerfs, weapon swap nerfs. IMC confirmed hates weapon swapping.
