Use This to Determine if Your Addon is Bannable

Even after IMC made numerous posts on their position on addons, there seems to be continual confusion as to what is and is not allowed. I have made his very simple decision tree to help those struggling with addon issues.

I dont know, i rather hear that from a IMC staff. But they just gonna post some automated robotic answer.

Just can hope that they dont change mind and ban hammer for the supposed aproved ones.

Again, the quote is from an OFFICIAL IMC post. They have already given you what you are asking for, all you need to do is read.

That decision tree is exactly how I understand their position as well.

However, you wrote “Pet AI does not fall under [category B]”. A hypothetical add-on (I am not sure if it is possible), which provides a better/different AI for your pet, I think would fall under Category B and would be bannable.

I guess it would be something like the homunculus AI for Ragnarok Online (Alchemist Class) where basically the pet played by itself.

Can’t remember if that was allowed in the original server tho, I know in private servers it was okay to use it.

It was fine to use in iRO; and honestly, if I had a way to contact Mir, I would beg her to make a better pet AI for this game as well. Its in serious need of an overhaul.
