Use one-hand spear why not pierce on normal attack type

I change my class to hoplite and equip one-hand spear[pierce], I attack truffle[leather armor] not additional damage, why not, but I buff finestra get additional damage 50%[pierce]

why my normal attack not get additional damage, it’s pierce
