The thing is though, the ones who bought tokens with tp and still have them, get compensated. The ones who sold them for silver, sold an item that was worth 198 tp. They knew how much they bought it for and sold it for silver accordingly.
I was on your side at the start, until i thought about it more and realized what i just mentioned.
Personally there is no way i would sell a 20 dollar item for 350k… way too low for me. But people many people chose to do this.
Now only thing left is that they reduce the team name change cost because 150 TP is crazy.
I personally have 1 token from founders pack 1. They deserve it 
its your choice if you want to sell it for silver or not.
btw i think those were most sold were sketchy tokens from gold sellers/etc.

a game store sells a game for 50$, but a month later discounts it to 25$.
are they obliged to give 25$ worth of coupons to each game they sold to each customer within that month?
can they give it? sure, np, its welcomed.
but in this game setting, with only a select people receiving 1k-3k tp just because they hoarded tokens, im afraid some people will monopolize enchanted headset/ token in the AH. and that breaks the game
you tell me someone with 3k tp( thats 30 tokens/ 10m silver) isnt going to buy
40+ 10 pack enchant scrolls. and sell 3 lines for 3-10m each.

When did I ever say I sold tokens? I didn’t saying I bought any, much less sell them. And I’m not blaming IMC for anything either aside from just making a decision that was poor in my opinion. My standing on this whole issue is mostly neutral albeit a minor fuss about how this could have been handled better. But knowing IMC and their past mistakes, this whole thing wasn’t totally unexpected and their generosity in this is actually quite nice.
Exactly. But IMC isn’t compensating those who spent that 198 TP with the 99 TP they deserve (unless they own tokens) because they simply don’t own a token. It’s the whole reason IMC is even doing the compensating thing and it’s basically just a lazy workaround. A lot of the tokens on the market were probably from gold sellers but that’s just speculation. Anyway, it is the people’s fault for selling tokens too cheaply but it’s not like anyone could have predicted IMC doing this.

I think you misunderstood what i said… they bought their token and sold it at what they thought a 198tp item was worth in silver. So they don’t need to be compensated.

what do you care on what they’ll do to their TP refund, it’s not yours.
if you can’t buy TP as of now, go solve your own financial issue.
P.S i’ve never bought TP, ever. so i give it to them because they spend real money.
The problem is the compensation itself which shouldn’t even be happening.
the founders/ people who bought tokens for tp, bought it for that price and sold it for their price.
the lowering of the tp should not apply before june 7 because too many trades have been made. more than 1 month has passed since OBT which means 1-2 tokens have already been used.
This means that the number of people who have tokens from founder’s pack/actually buying it with tp is greatly less than the people who have tokens from AH
What does this mean? It means the the compensation actually isnt compensating the people it is designed to compensate.
Also, I do not think anyone would complain about the price change. Really.
Please give a valid argument against IMC if they did not compensate.
