[Unresolved] Maven Abbey Bug and Let's play the customer support incompetence game!

I hope you guys can assist me this time because it’s already TICKET NUMBER 5 ASSHOLES. GIVE SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS! OR IF YOU CAN’T FIX IT THEN GO FIND A BETTER CUSTOMER SUPPORT AS THE ONES WHO ARE ANSWERING THESE ARE CLEARLY NOT QUALIFIED TO WORK AND ASSIST US PLAYERS FOR GOD’S SAKE

By the way the bastard who answered ticket#4 just copy pasted the same piece of bull given to me. I hope you guys actually know this and if they can’t assist i hope you can.

Unable to enter Maven Abbey due to the bug HOPEFULLY I’D HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS FOR THE LAST GODDAMN TIME

Steps to reproduce the issue :

Finish the quest to enter maven abbey, It does not open the door

Kindly try to restart your router and re-launch the game from Steam to see whether the problem gets fixed.

Another possible fix for this issue is to change channel and select the number on the lowest part of the drop-down menu.

Furthermore, kindly disable any add-ons or third-party programs running and or installed with your game as this maybe the reason you are experiencing this issue and once again verify integrity of your game cache.

I’m also experiencing this bug and it’s still not fixed on my end as well :v

Pro tip: been an ass and throwing insults doesn’t help, all the opposite…

(throw insults if you are going to leave that instant and never come back)

please chill and start searching for other options if it’s clear support couldn’t help you…

Have you tried to PM someone from staff directly?_?

it seems to be a newer-ish bug, so they might not have a way to fix it yet…

clean those tears, put your pants on and try all you can on your side…

and being kind doesn’t really solve anything now does it? btw already at the 8th goddamn ticket and they still give automated responses (Tried and done not fixing the damn problem)

been nice increase the probability of people giving a ■■■■ about your problem…

can you post a list of things you have tried, like

Changing channels
uninstalling and re installing the game
going inside by other means and using the warp from other way…

You’re being far too kind to someone that doesn’t deserve it… I would let him wallow in his tears.

You know, when I was going to type my first post…

that’s the first thing my brain said “why bother, it doesn’t deserve it…”

but then again am the kind of person that cant just turn away if I think I can help somehow :pensive:

that and am used to worst people in this forum than TC xD

1.) Uninstalling and Reinstalling the game (thrice with and without add-ons)
2.) Changing to every god damn channel in the map
3.) Uninstalling and Reinstalling all Add-ons
4.) Having an archer push me via Full Draw (obviously due to collision it’s not working
5.) Checking the file integrity (about every damn time i open the game to test it out once more)
6.) Having a kino try to throw me in using telekenesis (i ended up falling through the floor instead)
7.) Tried to jump over the gate (for the lulz of course did not work)
8.) had people party with me and try to trigger the same quest as i did (did not trigger for me)
9.) Tried reinstalling the game after doing a clean wipe of my system (reformatting it)
10.)same as #9 but without mods
11.) PM-ing a staff but sadly no answers (yes i pm’d kindly and politely)
12.) Created tickets and have someone from Support answer it and it’s the cause of my rage
13.) Provided screenshots/videos and any data that can help with showing my issue. I was given the same automated robo response.
14.) Tried to teleport via the Guild Master’s Teleport to Guild Member skill (did not respond but the skill was placed on cooldown)
15.) Rant of the forums because i was sick and tired of doing everything up there over and over.

Ok, mmm…

so guild warp didn’t work, have you tried the party warp with someone that has a completed quest inside, maybe you can trigger that easier than guild…

physical movement won’t work it seems and the problem might be save server side, can you reset quest or is the quest completely out of quest window?_?

@GM_Francis maybe relocating people with the problem inside would be the fastest option for now…

Oh right i also tried the party warp. For some reason it just teleports me in front of the gate. and yes i have tried the retake/abandon process. Didn’t work.

yeah… i think the relocation might be the right path to take. Now i’ve cooled down a bit thanks for listenin. I still think the customer service is a piece of garbage tho.

That would only let him get his quests done really… But I did have that problem with the purple glyph wall in workshop I believe was the floor. I ended up getting around it by warp stoning and just teleporting to the NPC.

Both actually, One of it’s because of the door and the other was for another personal reason

mmm stepping where warp should be and using warp stone mmm maybe but doubt it…

well that would be ok, they can prob save the place with warp scrolls if they need to leave and return, do all they have to do xD

Regardless I think the end will just be the support team giving the Vid to the devs. Devs trying to recreate bug. Figuring it out or not… And fixing the bug or doing a fail save solution like removing the doors all together.

Then it’ill show up in a kToS patch note. And a month later we’ill get it. Probably not going to be a fast turn around. Probably time to grab a snickers. Try find a cure for autism… Cure cancer… Plants some trees.
