My character is currently on Overlong Bridge Valley and I had a quest, after completing another quest, where I was required to Morkus Jonas. Due to some unknown reason/s, I can’t talk to him. The NPC Talk status/icon was shown under my character’s info(hp,sp,level) but no dialogue from Morkus Jonas. I tried talking to another NPC, Archaeologist Lauidi, and received an option to accept a quest or not. I accepted the quest but no quest status was shown on the screen. I tried talking to him again but he asked again for a quest. I accepted and nothing happened. I relog and tried accepting the quest and it worked. Now, I tried talking to Morkus Jonas again but still no dialog. I abandoned the quest to try and reclaim it but I can’t anymore. I tried talking to Morkus after abandoning and voila, the dialogue showed but no quest info. Help.
Did you press the restart button (in the Abandon tab inside the quest log) on the quest after abandoning it?
There was no restart button when I abandoned it. It was only also a subquest I think because the quest logo was blue.
I already used the abandon button before on a subquest, but there wasn’t a restart button and the game did not completely abandon the quest, it immediately went back to the first task of the quest I had just abandoned. Only this time, the first task required(talk to morkus jonas) did not come back after abandoning.
Now I can’t take the Treasure Hunting Quest from Rolandas Jonas in Akmens Ridge
I am having a similar problem, but I did not ever abandon any quest. I just did the quest “Rolandas Jonas of Akmens Ridge”, and upon talking to Rolandas Jonas, all he said was “Welcome.” and the quest disappeared. I cannot start the Treasure Hunting Quest. That was a lot of buildup just to reach a dead end. ;’-(

I dunno if it was fixed otherwise, but I noticed when I completed “Information About Saugas” quest in Overlong Bridge Valley, it unlocked Treasure Hunting.
