Unique basic attacks for every class

ToS is a game where you have to auto attack every now and then. To make this more appealing and less like a chore, I suggest changing every class’ basic attack to be a little more unique.

For example:

  • Highlander+2h sword: slower but stronger attack
  • Peltasta+shield: attack during block deals a weak but fast stab (any OoT fans here?)
  • QS+xbow: very fast basic attack (xbows are easier to shoot than bows)
  • Ranger+bow: increased range (it’s in their name, right?)
  • Cryo+rod: snow gfx and add % ice attribute damage. Chance to inflict slow.
  • Pyro+staff: fire gfx and add % fire attribute damage. Chance to inflict burning.
  • Priest+mace: idk… add a small chance to: hit twice, to heal self, or create a random reagent for their skills?
  • Krivis+???: idk… add % lightning attribute, bonus crit chance, or chance to reduce all cds by 1 second.

Feel free to make up your own for the other classes.

Yessss. Should have purchasable Attributes that slightly changes the presentation/effect too. Although adding these to every one of the classes seems like a bit of work, so it would be more ideal to apply them to just the 4 base classes, and give multiple choices which can be bought from the class NPC’s (Only one being allowed to be used at a time if course).

And to play along:

  • Bokor: Skull/Ghost GFX when attacking and add % Dark attribute damage. Change to inflict Darkness.

Good idea, the game lacks ASPD (Attack speed), but this should be well worked to make things balanced.
