Unannounced Classes: Dragoon, Panzer, Musketeer

Skimming through the Database, I came across a couple class costumes that were tied with a handful of unannounced classes. These include:

Dragoon: http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/620115/

Musketeer: http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/622114/

They share the sprites with other, already announced costumes in their class tree, so I’m guessing these are just placeholders. As far as what they’ll be like, my guess is Dragoon is a spear class, Musketeer is a 2h gun class (if not that, then 1h), and Panzer…I have no idea :open_mouth:

I hope Dragoons can Jump just like in Final Fantasy. Searching panzer on google images leads to war tanks? what? Musketeer looks classy.

Well, based on the comments from a similar reddit post of mine, it seems like Dragoons will probably be a mounted class, most likely related to this type of dragoon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragoon I’m guessing this is true because of the similar historical titles of the classes. However, they might still use 2h spears and stuff, or just be an all around offensive calvary class (unlike Cataphract, which is all about charging / breaking through stuff).

And you bringing up Panzer’s as tanks…they’re swordies…tanks…maybe they’re SUPER tanky? lol

Also Dragoons in some other games are represented with a handcannon, so we might get a mounted ranged class?

Panzer is the german word for “tank” (they even named some of their tanks like Panzer I, II, III, IV, etc.
But apart from that, I have no idea what it could be refering to.

Musketeer class has been a staple class in IMC games. You can see musketeer class on Granado Espada and Wolf Knights with literally almost the same skill sets.

While the first thing that comes in mind for a Dragoon is Final Fantasy Dragoon that have leaping attacks. Dragoons will most likely follow their historical counterpart as mounted troops.

Panzers seems like another high rank tanking class.

I am going to love the musketeer.

Nothing quite so pleasant as the smell of black powder in the morning…

Dragoon sounds nice. Maybe it’s a stronger version of Cataphract with an exclusive skill to mount a dragon.
And of course, maybe this is a hidden class for two handed spear users.

I doubt there will be dragon mounts right off the bat, if ever :frowning: Also, yeah, Dragoons historically were linked to the handcannons with the name “Dragon,” but this is a swordsman style class. More than likely it will be melee based. However, they might not have any weapon exclusive skills, as they used swords as well as guns and spears.

In case of Tree of Savior, I expect the Dragoon will focus on two handed spear usage. There’s no other class out there that supports two handed spear weapon besides Cataphract.
As for dragon mount, it’s just my imagination, but who knows? :grin:

From what I know the Schwarzer Reiter is better when he is mounted so the Musketeer will probably be better on the ground.

The archer classes do that by default, the kneeling down thing.

i mean like this kind o’ thing and yess archer should have their own stance too…
since IMC made granado espada too, that musketeer stance will carry over here i guess

Well, Musketeer is definitely going to be a high rank archer class - that is, it’s in the same tree (if it actually gets added). You’ll be able to use Kneeling Shot with a 2h gun though, which is pretty cool imo

They should bring Musketeer’s unlimited shot. :yum:
Joking though, unlimited shot would be able to solo any boss in this game given the OPness of that stance hahaha.
