Unable to discard a quest item from a previous quest

Description :

I completed the quest “Emergency (1)” and noticed, later on during the day, that I had a leftover item from the quest called “Blazing Magic Source”.

Could you please remove this untradeable/unsellable/undiscardable item from my inventory?

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Complete the quest Emergency (1)

I got a reply from a support ticket saying that they’re unable to remove that item from my inventory, looks like i’ll be remaking another wizard.

Don’t bother, you’ll just end up with the same issue.

I have like 7 undestroyable quest items in my inventory. At least they dont have any weight…

Yeah, they did mention that on the ticket, that it didn’t have any weight. I rated their response 4/5 out 5 stars, 5 if they were able to fix it.

I have a lot of quest items in my inventory, like Ausrine’s Second, Fourth and Fifth Traces just because I helped some friends.

Unfortunately for those who like to keep their inventory organized, there is no solution =/

I’ve decided to take eternaldream’s advice to heart and just keep the character.
I think this issue should be brought up to the devs since it sounds like it’s common enough and it could happen to any of the fetch quests.

multiple of my characters are having this issue too. got plagued by leftover quest items in inventory…

IMC should allow player to delete quest item.

if the item player want to delete is tied to an active quest, just simply pop out a warning msg informing player that deleting the item will cause the quest get abandoned.
