Unable to Complete Main Scenario Quest - Freedom of Goddess Saule

Not sure whether if this is a bug, or that I am missing something, but after completing the quest called: Freedom of Goddess Saule, upon attempting to turn in the quest, I was unable to do so. Due to the barrier that is around the NPC, I cannot reach her, thus preventing me to complete the quest. I have been told that the barrier is not supposed to be up, but it still is for me.

Any help/clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.

Its also the same for me, what i did to complete the quest was to run as far away from the npc as possible and warp back, it worked until i’ve destoryed the demon gates and i wasn’t able to warp myself back in anymore.

I’m having trouble with “Release Goddess Saule”, one of the quests before this one. I can’t interact with the two “Binding Magic Circle” props so now I’m unable to progress. Seems like there’s a ton of bugs regarding Saule and this area…

what happens if you use the “jump to NPC” button? (Backspace)

It kicks you out of the barrier, although sometimes the npc loads before the barrier and you get stuck next to her

If you use the jump to NPC button you teleport to the NPC and get popped out immediately. Even walking away from the barrier in an attempt to de-spawn it and spamming spacebar to talk to the NPC while you are in the middle for a split second has proven to be unsuccessful.

Still has the same problem. How I tried to fix it:

charselect
logout
launch client from another computers
return with backspace and spacebar
abandon quest and start again
reform party

= no result

after backspace form other players’ point of view I am standing inside the cage, and after moving - go back outside the zone. From my point of view - I am and all other players are outside the shield. It started when I returned to Goddess and was caught in the cage (couldn’t leave it without teleportation)

What is interesting, I can trade with players (when they are near the cage), but spacebar doesn’t work

Does anyone have a solution for this? I cant go on with my quest line if this bug is not fixed.

Okay. I had the same problem and a semi-reliable solution is as follows:

Have a friend / another PC with low specs and a low internet bandwidth go to another map.

Use ‘backspace’ to teleport to the goddess and use your talk button (eg. ‘space’). With a bit of luck and enough people on the map the cage around Saule doesn’t load “fast” enough so you have a few seconds to turn in your quest and start a new one.

Though it doesn’t work every time it is repeatable and thus you should be able to finish the quest… Until they have a proper fix for it or too few people on the map for this glitch to work.

Tested this solution and can confirm this works, although not 100% reliable this is the best bet to move forward before any patches come up

Another solution is to have a friend cryomancer ice wall under the goddess. So that when you teleport to her you will get stuck in the wall and be able to talk to her.

This happened to me as well. I can’t get close to the bitch. It’s ruined the game.

Don’t thank me xD Thank my Cryo friend. I was raging at him during this for hours, he comes along says “look at this, it’s funny” proceeds to use ice wall on goddess lifting her up whilst I used return and BAM. Came across it by complete accident but it helped me and I love him for it.

These are not proper solutions, and I’d love to hear how I’m supposed to accept the quest now that I’ve abandoned it. The temporary solutions only work if you didn’t try all the solutions available before hand, such as abandoning the quest. So? She’s the bearer of the quest, and has a bubble around her, no more backspace abuse for me. So…? Start over? Character dead? Adventure comes to an end now???

P.S. This bug has been in since CBT1, that means the odds of it being resolved now are…just as unlikely.
