Please change either the name of the DLC (to say 42% off) or fix the price.
No this isn’t about steam regional pricing.

First legit thread concerning prices, up voted for visibility.
I grant you it’s false advertising, but £2.50 is not going to make or break most peoples bank account.
I’m more alarmed you had to use a converter to work out GCSE level Maths.
It’s not going to break my bank account no. But if I’d like to know if they’re going to fix it before I buy because why would I want to spend extra for no reason? Even if it is pocket change.
And no I didn’t need the calculator, a visual aide is just better for getting my point across. Which IMC apparently need.
To be fair, whilst it’s not going to break most people’s bank accounts, using your example of GCSE Maths; if you was £2.50 off the correct answer, you would probably lose marks lol
I never thought I’d see the day!
Apparently, this is happening to a lot of countries. Brazil is off by about 2%, Canada seems to be off by about 1.5% and while I can’t vouch for the rest of the countries, I’m pretty sure that every single non-USD currency is not receiving 50% discount, receiving instead somewhere between 42-49%.
Whoever set those prices up is not very good at maths.
I do hope I don’t get bashed on this. Maybe the discounts were deducted in raw prices of the DLCs and did not include taxes on it. Not sure though
same in PH
even though it is close to 50% it is 47% discount
normal price 2179.61
discounted price 1154.13
should be 1089.81
discounted price if its 47% 1155.19
i dont know how they do their math on simple 50% unless there’s some kind of tax or something (which i think should already be included on the original price)
well its 3% difference but still not accurate discount.
Well that sounds messy.

Please read the News before you make these post…
This discount will start on the 21st as planned and will remain available until near the F2P transition date. These 50%-off DLC products will not take regional pricing into account as they will be discontinued before F2P and regional pricing implementation for the SA and SEA servers.
Thanks

Thanks
That still doesn’t explain what are they 50% relative to.
Regional pricing was already removed. This is after regional pricing removal so it should not take regional pricing into account right.
Sir, please solve:
33.04 x 0.5
If you get 18.99, which is the “50% discount” value for the UK, you might be hired by IMC’s pricing department.
