UI Mode: Mouse Feedback / Suggestions

Does anyone else here feel that the mode would be better if they removed actually moving with the mouse and kept the rest the same (of course a full rebinding option for each individual key would be best so players can feel around what binds they want)?

Maybe it is different from archers and wizards, but if it is that much different why not have two mouse UI modes. One for Clerics / Swordies and one for Wizards / Archies

As a swordsman the main issue i got was not having the freedom to switch between monsters while fighting. If you could remove the Attack until dead left click and kept it as the same as the default Z key, it would make it much more fluent and makes it seem almost seamless.

Thoughts on this?

Moving with the mouse is why I use mouse mode.

The auto attack left click is the main thing that makes it hard to play a melee class with mouse mode. That should be removed and you should attack in the direction of the mouse cursor when you press the attack key.

i agree with this. i think that this should be an option in the settings.
i am playing swordsman and i think this would fix it completely.

also, they can have another option where it lets you click to move still.

all separate check boxes and flags.

Playin as mouse have LOT of bugs…
Theres few NPC that I cant click with mouse, I need change the UI mode and put keyboard then press Space in order for it to work because mouse click dosent work, some quests I cant complete with Mouse, I also need to change UI mode and use with space…

Yes it works both ways, thats why I suggested just having two different options instead of melding it into one UI mode.

Yeah bugs will be worked out in time, I think just making a global keybinds window in the settings will solve all their UI modes. This includes having mouse buttons as well. I hate that in the ini file i cannot figure out what I would put for the mouse left click and right click

Honestly, I’d rather my left click on Swordsman/Cleric actually give me an attack swing regardless of if I click on an enemy or not. It’d make playing them a lot less frustrating to me.

Something along the lines of move with wasd, clicking attacks only? I’d not mind that. Though I’d like a mouse key to activate off hands as well.

Trying to block as a peltasta is awkward when the only key that does it is C.

I’d also not mind a control scheme where the mouse was only for movement and the keyboard controls worked like normal.

Basically. It’d make Swordsman/Cleric not feel super janky to play, especially when trying to do the jump attacks so you can do damage while you get around the boss’s side to avoid taking damage.

here what i think could be improve

1 the pet get in the way when u try clicking on monster during fight
( would sugest that u remove the option to click on it & add square thing that u can grab in the f9 & use in the skill bar )
2 the skill stabbing ( hoplite ) wont reach as far as any other skill or auto attack
( prolly a bug ? )
3 each time i talk to a npc & i have to click on the text my char move thinking i have click on the ground
4 when i use the mouse to see the name of an objet on the ground it disapear in a fraction of a sec

I wish I could access the menus without using a mouse mode. That could be using the D-Pad to move through menus and Y (or triangle), the useless button besides attack, jump and talk buttons, to open and close menus. Ofc, one doesn’t need to make mouse mode unavaible after implementing this new feature.
