Two handed Bokor + Plague Doctor?

I’m planning a Bokor + Plague Doctor build for myself. Its purpose is to solo farm in Valandis and other active monster maps.

The popular options on R6 seem to be Diev Druid or Miko, but now that two handed blunts are a thing, can I go Paladin or Monk on R6 for a permanent damage boost?

I like the idea so if there aren’t any blatant flaws I think I’ll try it out. ty in advance.

you can do it if you want to

Cool! Look forward to this.

yup paladin 1 is decent with bokor spirit builds in particular will enjoy turn undead level 3 with the attribute to have a good chance to quickly finish off dark mobs as the bokors summons count as dark thus not that effective against other dark monsters.

Didn’t quite understand the bokor summons bit. Can bokor change monsters into Dark property?

I suppose Bokor + PD excels at damaging a large number of mobs at the same time. Would it be useful to kill a small number of mobs right away?

Your zombie pet attacks count as dark element, killing a small number does take time but bokor plague doctor is all around great never had too much of an issue with small groups.

One thing to be wary of is zombie management against bosses, bokor plague doctor means you specialize in zombie damage sharpening your specialty into a focus but your weaknesses is made even more apparent whilst it is not a bad thing this ultimately is a double edge sword. Please allow me to clarify, you rely almost solely on your zombies for damage bar debuffs and incinerate combo. Against demon bosses that are resistant to dark and when you cannot replenish your zombie army as quick as they fall, this playstyle can be frustrating so stock up on zombie capsules and grab classes to improve your zombies endurance such as priest2 for mass heal since zombies taking your allies heal tiles is a big no-no, Bokor 2 is very appealing for the expand pandemic attribute which is fantastic.

Are you an int or spirit build?

Dark (zombies) isn’t effective against Dark (some mobs). I see what you mean now.
I’ve already started the character, and it’s on C2 Bokor3 Monk1 PD1 (Rank7).

I’m going mainly INT with some CON & SPR. Therefore zombie attacks will be a minor part of my damage output.

The purpose of the character is to kill lots of mobs, so I’m okay with being utterly rubbish against bosses.
Challenge mode is a thing, I guess I’ll just damballa all zombies onto the bosses to avoid heal tiles.

Hope you continue enjoying your build and success in your adventure

Damballa is also dark just a warning :haha:

still int plagues offer good damage on their own with debuffs and incinerate
