Anime version powerpuff girls finally got fingers. Was the series good?
I enjoyed it. I only wish the characters had their original traits intact a bit more. Buttercup was pretty spot on but it felt like they had swapped various traits between Blossom and Bubbles.
Bubbles’ change didn’t bother me much, but I definitely felt a disconnect with Blossom since she was so dumbed down. I liked the character and enjoyed watching the character, but it’s not the Blossom I wanted to see.
The other change I didn’t care for is that none of them are “related”.
I absolutely loved the villains, though. They did squander HIM’s potential to be an outstanding antagonist but the show was canceled anyway, so.
