The last Big patch mentioned that tree root will give speed buffs, and last time it was now it stop buffing.
I remember reading where TRC only gives speed buff on lower level characters, not sure which level is the threshold. But obviously if you are already 330, the thing won’t give you a buff.

over lvl 200 don’t give it anymore

I’m a little late to the party but: Destroying Tree Root Crystals will increase movement speed by 10 mins (+3 for characters up to level 150 and +1 for those in levels 151 to 200).
