Tree Root Crystal [ The most annoying of all Monsters ]

would it be possible to make it undetectable target until someone use [TAB] to purposely target that stupid thing on the ground… coz it really making archer class mad of that stupid little thing that doesn’t really help us (for our class) yet it annoys the hell out of us… I haven’t feel any problem until I reach 170+ and those things become so overly annoying.

seriously that sh!t there not only is useless for archer class it also testing our temper.

those thing can be found almost every few meters away and it always the one being detected by target. it also respawn so fast… the best part of that is even if it was destroyed… for some reason oblique shoot will bounce at them for 3-5 more times. . .

here are some suggestion (if you don’t want to entirely remove it on the game, and just add an attribute for those classes who needs stamina to learn ‘Stamina potion creation’ using some loots.) :unamused:

  1. make it undetectable until someone purposely use tab or mouse click.
  2. make it indestructible, which means instead of destroying it people should use space bar to have stamina… give it 5 charges, and it replenishes over time.
  3. or just make it automatically give you stamina if you runs over it (not near it but over it)…

atleast on diablo2 if I can remember it right… you can regain stamina by drinking on the well.

is worst for wizards cause every attack is slow and really count…

and I love when my summon ignore a mob to go and destroy a tree :expressionless:

What is the use for any other classes except swordman? I havent seen any skills yet that use it.

Makes summoned zombies/monsters not able to target it also.

digging with a shovel consume it and running :\

but you wont run out unless you want to :expressionless:

I vote for catch the stamina automatically.

Linkers link that stuff so a valuable linkspot in the chain gets lost, summons attack it, if you play without target lock your attack as mage sometimes hit the treeroot.

Its too much to bear

If imc removed tree root crystals from the game, the game would be more balanced.

Yes yes yes,I cannot tell you how annoyed I am with those dxmn things as a Elementalist.I use my auto attack all the time to draw enemies into my spells and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve hit a Tree Crystal when I thought I was aiming for an enemy;because sometimes the target indicator doesn’t show up for it.

Swordsman classes are the only ones who benefit from them anyway,so there should at least be less of them around.

I just love the breaking glass sound. It would be much better if those tree root would give different/random effect. From gold/item drop, to hp/sp/stamina regen or negative status ailment. Ha!

I’m always breaking them on purpose. I love seeing them break in one shot because it’s satisfying after pelting a monster or an HP sponge boss with thousands of unsatisfying hits. Sometimes I even nuke them with a meteor just cause I know how much over kill it is.

Plus, if you don’t you usually run out of stamina without realizing it. You guys know walking depletes your stamina, right?

Yes,but not at a fast enough rate for it to matter to any other class except Swordsman.

Now if they gave all of us the ability to sprint,it’d be a different story.

That would be nice, and I did write an argument about it just after CBT1 ended. Judging by the responses though, I doubt IMC will be doing this any time soon.

Making Stamina relevant to more classes than Swordsman and Monk would be great. I don’t really care if you do it by giving us a dash or what, but right now the stat is pretty meaningless outside of the classes I mentioned.

I also suggested on one topic I made regarding utilizing stamina for archer too…

am lvl 127 now and have only 30 stamina and have ignored quests that give stamina potions cause it’s useless to me at this point…

I really like this idea!

I actually like it, because if you’re linking to an ally too, you have near no stamina left. That, and you can link using that and still get the benefits of attributes and hangman’s knot, if you’re fighting just one monster.

That, and it counts for the Hunter Achievement! I got mine from killing a tree root crystal…
